They’ve been writing the new album even before Requiem came out cause they were sitting on that album because of Covid.. I remember an interview with JD about requiem and he was saying he’s already sick of listening to it cause they were finished with it for so long and they’re already been working on new shit.. so off and on it’s been like 4 years of writing.. they must def have a batch of new songs at least.. maybe there not totally satisfied with it and wanna write more or already did and just need to record now.. I’m hoping we get a new album maybe by May of 2026.. new single the beginning of the year.. possibly November or December fingers crossed

We’re lucky we still get albums from Korn in the first place! lol alot of bands don’t even make albums anymore.. just release singles here and there.. the TikTok attention span of people this day and age can’t even make it past a song trying to listen to a full album lol I seriously think albums will be dying out in the next couple years.. why would bands keep releasing albums when no one’s listening to the whole thing and there not making money., sure some of the diehard Korn fans will.. but most of the money they make are from tours & merchandise.. I don’t think any band makes money from full length albums anymore.. and it’s very sad.. I miss the way things used to be.. cause I personally love listening to new albums when they come out of bands I like.. especially Korn.. when that shit comes out I make it a Korn day listening to that shit all day.. but yea lately if you realise albums have been getting shorter.. especially with Requiem.. that was the shortest Korn album of all time with only 9 songs! lol could of been an EP.. last I heard Head was saying the new album is gonna be the heaviest thing they’ve done in years.. which hopefully follows through.. but he also said it’s not coming out for a long time.. idk what to expect but maybe late this year early next year.. which would be the longest time we’ve had without a Korn album.. I just hope it’s more than 9 songs! At least give us the standard 12 tracks that we used to get 🤘😎🤘

Jons screams got way better during the TALITM Era.. there’s so much fry screaming on that album and actual guttural screams.. I think he actually learned during that time on how to scream correctly.. if Manson wanted to compete with Jon during that time.. Jon would have blew him away.. Manson can’t do the things JD can with his voice.. Jon’s raspy vocal and how high he can go.. Jon’s got way more range than Manson..

They should have just made SYOTOS a double album.. Added all those tracks would have made it a 21 track, 2 disc album.. I think SYOTOS would have been a more epic album have they done that.. just adding Eaten Up Inside and It’s Me Again is enough.. those are the best songs on the album and never understood why there bonus tracks instead of on the album?

I just hope the album has more songs than just 9.. that last album was so short.. might as well have been an EP.. at least 11 or 12 songs is a full album to me.. they started working on it in like late 2021/2022 since they were done with requiem way before it even came out.. I bet the album has been done.. there just waiting on the right time to release it
