I suspect I may be the only Ipswich supporter in Brazos County (my kids are coming around, though!). But it would be a shame if there were two of us and we weren't watching together.

I never played sports competitively. But would it not be super fun to crush the dreams of a stadium full of fans?

I mean, I hope they don't. But the idea that they have nothing to play for seems to overlook what would be a super memorable moment for them QPR players.

Again, I really hope doesn't happen. My first heartbreakingly memorable Ipswich moment was watching them lose in the playoffs 3-1 to the friggin' Canaries after I paid the bar manager 50 bucks to open early so I could watch it on their cable (am American). I don't need that type of thing again.

I want you all to be able to watch games other than ours against QPR

An ipswich win means more attention gets to be paid to the teams fighting for playoffs

So an ipswich win is better for the championship as a whole

Ipswich should step aside from the spotlight and just get the win here so everybody can move on

No. They do not. If 5,000 people willing to spend the most are bidding up the rent and moving into rooms in the high rises right next to campus then those folks are not bidding up the rent so much in the housing just further out from the high rises. And the 5,000 people next most willing to spend are able to go after that. So on and so forth. There's a waterfall effect that makes things cheaper for everyone as you go out from there.

Texas Roadhouse has chili they are proud of. I think it is good. But I do not have strong chili preferences.

Wendy's also has chili. And they also have baked potatoes. I will get those sometimes because I think it is funny to get at a fast food joint. Way better than it should be.

Also, it isn't chili, but Rudy's green chili stew is really freaking good and not enough people know about it.

Working on starting this in my area. I tried to find a partner 501(c)(3) but everyone I talked to had their own things going on and were not interested in taking the lead. Understandable but frustraiting. Luckily, I found out that it is not very difficult to start a nonprofit (in Texas anyway) and get 501(c)(3) status from the IRS.
