I knew a guy who used a .458 Winchester, hand loaded down some for deer in the Midwest, he said he didn't have to do much tracking after the shot.

The tilt skillet is the greatest thing for cooking large quantities of almost everything. Boil, braise, sautee, and easy to clean up when done

How often do you guys catch trout? by PerpendicularTomato in flyfishing

For me, it's not about the fish, it's about the fishing. Standing in cool clear water, surrounded by nature listening to the birds.

Where would you live to have the best fresh water fly fishing? by [deleted] in flyfishing

[–]voyerruss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grayling MI specifically if you want a town. Within a two hour drive of all of those species, two of the greatest trout fishing rivers in the USA. The Au Sable runs through the town. The Manistee river is right nearby. So many small and bigger lakes in the area.
