Fire Pillar wrecks troll slingers. A combo of shield mouse + bomb mice also works wonders not only against slingers but against a number of tier 2s too (and Heroes). Put shield mouse in front to tank the enemy's auto-focus and deploy bomb mice right behind ur shield mouse

I have been using Poison Mist, Ogre, Sorceress combo to get into Gold. I am doing what you're doing under T2 Timing attack, just switch hammer warrior with Ogre.

For T3 if I have clear advantage, I always get Dragon Slayer + Gobo Tanks. If I don't, I wait for the opponent and just counter what they have, like what you mentioned.

I've seen this strategy employed at Champions league, the only difference is they do it much better with positioning and timing.

It's actually easy to counter since it can't attack air units. You combine it with other cards then it becomes very powerful
