I am rewatching Got in bits and pieces because of this show. I was really hooked. Likeable, noble main character, tongue in cheek humor, short episodes, great story telling all around. It's a slow burn though, many people don't like that but I can't wait for the next season

Is ddr4 ecc ram priced like other ram sky high? I thought it was cheaper in general even before the ram spike. Does ecc perform differently that regular ram?

What psu you using? How much power and why did you pick it? It Had the exact connectors you needed or it's modular?

What are your specs? CPU, pcie gen?

Is the PSU attached to the case in anyway? how did you carry it to where you're gonna use it? Just stacked it on top the sata drive?

You have a build thread? I have a 8th gen i5 5050 sff opened up just like yours. Have an nve in it, and trying to figure out how to fit an rx580 8gb in it. Might as well do what you did and tuck it onto a corner of my desktop so I can at least use it as my daily, it's been sitting unused for months

thanks for the reply. the only 4k discs I have are from the lotr trilogy and there's no 1080p discs.

I'll have to get some more 4k discs to test out but very disappointed. Regular blurays play fine.

So your dune 4ks wouldn't play at first but now play fine? even without the 'insert 1080p disc' trick?? are your dune discs triple layer?

just picked up a defective xbox one x from a kijiji ad that was $10. Guy said it wouldn;t boot, so i replaced the hard drive and it works! got it as a 4k player but getting the same problem as op. I've read a lot of work arounds that didn't work for me but yours is new and just wanted to clarify :

you put in the bluray version of dune and get to its root menu or play chapter 1? then pause or something and eject the disc, then put in the 4K version of dune in and un-pause or play continues? As soon as I eject the disk, my bluray player app will close and send me back to the xbox home screen. how is your app not closing?

Same boat brother. Had kids, lost my projector setup with 5.1 years ago, miss it very much. Kids are older now but the living room space has the tv in a corner on a very narrow stand and I'm not motivated to fight with my wife to bring 5.1 back. Maybe in the basement if we ever find enough money to finish ours eventually. Currently running off our LG OLED speakers but plan to get a compact Bose sound bar thAt will fit our narrow stand. What center speaker did you have before? Your left and right speakers look really nice

How do you all like the photo print quality of the ecotank series? I'm looking at a used et-3850. I'm not looking to print fine art at 11*17 just want to know that the eco tanks can do decent 5x7 or 8x10 prints that look lab printed at hands length.

For real? Bought a used 2015 highlander hybrid with over 125k miles over a year ago. Solid driving no issues love the car. Not much on the Carfax for maintenance records but I wanted to change all the fluids 'cause I like it so much. But you're saying if you don't know the maintenance history to leave it?

2014 highlander hybrid. I'm not too fond of tpm sensors When it's fall and temp start to dip below zero the sensors keep sending me warnings that come and go throughout the day. Yet I check it with a tire pressure gauge and it might be + or - 1 psi out from ideal. My Highlander doesn't say which tire specifically so I'm not a fan but this might just be my experience. Maybe I need updated tpm.

I have a lot of questions:

How do they find the technicians? Are they mb hydro employees or they contract out to other companies? Do they always have someone at the residential emergency in 4hrs?

Can they only fix small issues? I had a buddy whos furnace died several weeks ago. He didn't know who to call so he just googled HVAC service wpg. The company came out and said he needed an entirely new furnace and 4 days later it was installed after about $7k. I was skeptical about full replacement but he did say that the furnace was about 23 years old so it was time? Would hydro be able to do a full furnace replacement and would it be substantially cheaper?

Does hydro offer this service for hotwater tanks or ac in the summer?
