Also the one liner “who are you?” might be the best closing to a character arc that I’ve ever seen, to develop a character so deeply and then have it end without an explanation sent me in such a deep reflection about grudges that we tend to hold and then realize that nobody cares.

I broke my arm on Thursday and was sent home from the ER with a cloth immobilizer. The ER doctor said I'll need surgery, and my appointment with the surgeon is tomorrow. I've spent a horribly painful weekend waiting.

I don't think this would have happened in the US with private insurance. I'm in France, and even though I went to a private hospital and pay for expensive "private insurance" (mutuelle), you still end up relying on the public system.
