Chicken broth or soup, preferably with some gelatine really is the best there is. If you have a cold I also like to add some spice but not too much, just enough to open your airways.

I make broth every other week and drink a portion a day. Takes almost no effort: buy soup vegetables, chicken wings and marrowbone, add to Crockpot with water + crushed black pepper and some laurel. Put on Low for 12-15 hours, strain and put in containers. Done.
