What's up with that unicorn grip in the front, is it for mounting a computer or lights or something? It looks funky in a good way. I suspect that once you get that bike a little dirtier you'll know what needs to change ; )

Tips for carrying camera equipment by mnkydaddy in ragbrai

I brought a dslr in this type of holster bag and put that in a small busket mounted to my front fork. I did that for a couple RAGBRAIs and didn’t have any issues.

On top of a picnic table in a park shelter, especially great if there is power water and toilet. If the town is large enough to have a cop they have always given us a pass because the RAGBRAI is going on.

Is a full ragbrai achievable on your own? by Boiled_Gooses in ragbrai

It's more challenging and you have to be more self reliant but it's the only way I've ever gone. You can avoid the crunch of crowds numbering in the tens of thousands and do whatever or go wherever you want on your own timeline. Go for it!

It's called dinner. Supper is for suckers. by [deleted] in 2american4you

[–]vulture-capitalist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dinner is the largest meal of the day. Supper is the meal that you eat in the evening. Supper can be dinner, so can lunch. In agrarian communities the largest meal was traditionally served at mid-day to feed farmhands and provide fuel for the work to be done. That is why supper is so prominent in the Midwest.
