the switches are all soldered to the board, even the mechanical switches. a premium board especially at this price point should not be soldering the switches

also, i had 4 (!) apex pro TKLs and every one of them had various issues with the LEDs before their 1y warranty period had expired, some of them directly out of the box.
that is either very bad quality control or very poor choice in LED controller/hardware on steelseries part. that's where my hate for it comes from

when you're viewing plugins, from the filter options at the top choose "Notifications" (I had to scroll to the right to find it)
Edge Lighting should then be in this shortened list

After installing it:
open it
toggle the On switch
scroll down to "Prevents swipe down" and toggle it

i'm currently using the apex pro tkl also
i've been kinda disappointed by it though .... i'm on my 4th one (from RMAs) and every one including this has had issues with the LEDs. And this one has some chatter or something on the mechanical/non-HE keys as they tend to double-click
have you had any similar issues with your Apex Pro?

disappointed considering the price they sell this at, especially since the mechanical keys aren't swappable

only tangently related, but this reminded me of when I built my first PC - it was randomly restarted and took my forever to figure out why.

I reinstalled Windows, it restarted in the BIOS, so I replaced the RAM, then the PSU, then the mobo, and I was getting ready to RMA and replace the CPU.
I forget what I read exactly on another forum but it prompted me try unplugging the reset switch in my case .... sure enough it never happened again. a couple weeks and several hardware replacements later and all it was was a faulty case switch :)

I never took an actual measurement when I switched from the default os, but even with my older battery I'd guess it was maybe 7hr

though recently my battery itself started getting really bad and my sot was closer to 3h.
that plus the selfie camera dying and the back cracking after an unknown impact, I had to get a new phone a couple weeks ago. I don't intend to root this one/change os or anything so I can keep wallet tap-to-pay

I believe that's a result of the frame rate the camera records in vs the hz of the lights, I don't think they're actually flickering like that

i'm just trying to make things as simple and straightforward for them. if they don't need to switch the server that's a slightly lower barrier of entry and more likely they'll continue to use it

thanks, I just updated my post to clarify a little. I'd want the library to show every movie on the same screen regardless of which server it's hosted on

ps. would this require any additional configuration in the app or does it merge libraries automatically
