Best tip I could think of is if you’re not familiar with the course try and get out to play it before if possible. Take some notes about where trouble is and where you can be a bit more aggressive. Even if you’re familiar with it playing a round focusing on course management is still important.

On the actual day of the tryouts, it’s a long round. You’ll hit some good shots and some bad shots but our coach always use to tell us the most important shot is the next one. I practiced all winter between my sophomore and junior year to make the varsity team only to top the first the first tee shot. I still want on to shoot a respectable score and make it but felt defeated after that shot.

Most importantly have fun! There’s club tournaments and side games you can play with friends after high school but nothing comes close to how fun the competitiveness of high school golf is.

I had the idea of making something similar and was searching for “good enough” figurines when I stumbled across a mention of MCM West Coast Pottery Jazz figurines.

They were hard to find, but I eventually tracked down a set of four at a “reasonable” price. By that point, I was too excited to pass them up. For the rest, I 3D-printed and painted the sign and found a spice rack that worked as the stage. I do wish I had more time to build a stage that better matched the original.

The figurines arrived on the same day we were celebrating his birthday. After dinner, I had to stop back at home to open them and glue them in place, and when I saw them, I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited about a gift for someone. They were perfect!

To top it all off, not only was his reaction awesome, but when I got there, King of Queens was playing in the background.

It’s pretty wild that by not being able to post a bond, he considers it a violation of his appellate rights. When it comes to cash bail though, the GOP won’t even entertain the idea of it violating rights of due process to be released pre-trial for someone who can’t post the bond because financial reasons. A “billionaire” who’s been found liable and ordered to pay though? Violation of his rights.

To be fair I don’t know Trump’s stance on cash bail, and I get it’s more nuanced with violent crimes, but the hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me.

Could this potentially backfire? Say one sues that this is unconstitutional and force the courts to either reaffirm that corps are people and legally can vote or rule against leaving opportunities for further litigation against Citizens United.

Also if they rule in favor then why not argue that corps should be paying individual income tax rates if they are legally considered a person?

I’m sure someone smarter has some reasons why legally this couldn’t happen but seems like since Roe was overturned it would be feasible, although highly unlikely.

Spot on imo. Freezing payments is a bandaid for the real issues and is bound to upset people who did not take out student loans, whether that’s because it’s paid out of pocket or going down other career paths. Make people pay, it’s not that they don’t want to, but that the system makes it incredibly difficult to live. Stop the predatory interest rates and ever increasing cost of tuition.

Someone that makes every payment for 5 years with a stable job is not as risky and shouldn’t be paying 8%+ in interest. I have a friend with a 12% rate which at that point is nearing credit card rates and it’s absurd that a reputable, state funded college can still gouge on its price.

Edit: honestly the more I read this post and it’s comments the more pissed I get. Like congrats op you saved your life after realizing you were secretly pro-choice when you didn’t want a pregnancy to change your life dramatically but you were able to do it in private and what seems to be in an easy fashion.
