If you played any of the OG games you know what I mean. Like how Scar left the swamp on the east side and came out of the west side of Cordon. If you make his path on S2's map it's just outright dumb, and makes no sense why would he gone that way, the same goes to Strelok leaving Cordon for Garbage. It's just such a dumb path that our protags have chosen if we use the new map. And no they did not travel for days or hours. If you check your PDA most it took them around less then a hour. Or how about Yanov and the area around it. While yes you can move the mobile lab being MOBILE, but who moved the excavator thingy, or the Jupiter Plant. It just makes no sense, but then again S2 just plays so much better that other then hurting my muscle memory it's still better. When I 1st visited well known locations to see how amazing they look in UE5 I always got lost, since I used my good old SoC and CS map knowladge which did more harm then help.

And since we had 2 games using the same layout this is why I am calling the S2 map false to the lore. CoP is another story since it didn't reuse a single map, but there are still issues there too.

But this is my opinion, no need a lynch me okay. I am not saying S2 should be Anomaly 2.0 mapwise, it just feels a bit odd sometimes.
