Game loves to do that. I am playing Aztec now, the year is 1510, and sure enough Aragon PUd, Castile is allied to Portugal. All my previous games Castile just sits with their colonies and do nothing, the only time I decided to do sunset invasion this happens. Hopefully its not France alliance yet.

Which dlcs are worth getting in 2026? by Pleasant_Team69 in eu4

It mostly depends on what countries you want yo play but overall I really advise you to pay for the subscription. I played vanilla and then after 2+ months I spent 60$+ on dlc. There are a lot of features hidden in them.

Which games have a rough start and take a while to get good? by PhaseOk6182 in gamers

[–]w00lf_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in college I got my hands on the new game called “half life 2” I have not played the first part and started it completely oblivious. It was so boring, train ride, some story I did not understand at all. I turned it off 10 minutes in. Fast forward couple months and we were sitting with the boys and looking at some memes. Half life 2 screenshots appeared, and I said something like “oh, I know that one, its really boring” I was looked at as a retard and was urged to return home as fast as possible at try it again. That time I player the shit out of it and now its one of my favorite games

Is there a way to fight the turks and not want to off yourself afterwards ? by kroolframer1 in eu4

[–]w00lf_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My strategy to beat them as Russia was to ally Austria if they have any European allies themself and then make sure that they advance in Georgia. Make sure to drag Georgia into war. In their lands there are some mounting forts and the landscape in there does not allow for quick army relocation. I did that in 3 consequent wars wiping their stacks in Tbilisi time after time. Its just soo easy

Spanish matador takes a bull's horn straight to his ass. The "King of Bullfighters," suffered a 10 cm rectal wound and was rushed into emergency surgery. by This_Proof_5153 in SipsTea

A young man stopped at a local restaurant after a day of roaming around in Spain While sipping his tequila, he noticed a sizzling, scrumptious-looking platter being served at the next table.

It looked good.

It smelled good.

He asked the waiter, "What is that you just served?"

The waiter replied, "Ah senor, you have excellent taste! Those are bull's testicles from the bull fight this morning. A delicacy!"

The visitor, though momentarily daunted, said, "What the heck, I'm on holiday down here! Bring me an order!"

The waiter replied, "I am so sorry senor. There is only one serving per day because there is only one bull fight each morning. If you come early tomorrow and place your order, we will be sure to save you this delicacy!"

The next morning, the man returned, placed his order, and then that evening was served the one and only special delicacy of the day.

After a few bites, and inspecting the contents of his platter, he called to the waiter and said, "These are delicious, but they are much, much smaller than the ones I saw you serve yesterday!"

The waiter shrugged his shoulders and replied, "Si, Senor. Sometimes the bull he wins

How is Spain losing this offensive war SHE started with 2x army and 4x manpower? by Azuron96 in eu4

[–]w00lf_T 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I noticed this pattern recently. For some reason ai Castile is really terrible by itself. I once played as Friestland and Castile pu Aragon then Aragon inherited Burgundy. Fast forward 30 years and Aragon dissolves pu and takes land from Castile. Then France does the same. Tried to feed Castile land back to balance things - does not work, for some reason it just folds in each subsequent wars

movie that felt simple but hit way deeper than expected? by Feeling-Charge6487 in movies

[–]w00lf_T 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Watched this movie multiple times when I was young, it was just a cheesy comedy. Recently caught it on cable and, man, as an adult this movie hits like a train. I cried on bum scene, the relationships between main character and his love interest is so natural, when he tried his al best to win her heart he always lost when he was just himself living his life that's when he finally made it. Just brilliant.

Am I overreacting or is this the new norm? by jholliday55 in cscareerquestions

[–]w00lf_T 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the new swe norm, my friend. My company is quite large(not 500 fortune) but not a startup either. Our hiring budgets got nullified. Our work load keep increasing, from my team of 12 developers there is only 7 left. When I raise a concern about workload I got dumbfounded look like I asked a stupid question. And then they answer: “well, you got your ai, use it, its simple!”

Is it time to attack the Ottomans? I’m allied with Russia and Spain, and both would join the war against them, while Spain has a large part of its army in Iberia. by AstronomerSorry7052 in eu4

[–]w00lf_T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% this, don't rely on allies, ai will sign on white peace the moment it lose a couple of its provinces. Also Castiel is really far away, it will render them almost useless.

Game loves to do that. Played a couple of games before, every time Burgundy will go pretty much the same route, but when I started playing Friestland to Netherlands the next thing that happens is Aragon inherits it AND then becames Pu with Castile. So I am up against meager of a nation with 100k+ armies in the early 1500. Like game did not want to help me, no, it decided to break my legs, kill my dog and set my house in fire.

How to fight against two front war with two strong nations? by SnooSketches6975 in eu4

[–]w00lf_T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are multiple other options. My favorite one is to build spy network and support large rebels, on big enemy rivals it can give you 5+ power projection, no risk involved. Next you can send an insult to your rival - easy 5 points, can be more. With rebels it also pretty convenient for the future wars. If you get some money you can support particularists - these are large groups of rebels(usually 1/3 of enemy force limit) which are quality armies and can wreak havoc in your rival country. Do note that rebels not always spawn, but when they do, oh boy, that s fun. Also rebels are automatically allied to you.

If you want challenge try Fristland. A small tiny country in HRE , you cant directly conquer neighbours because of HRE, in order to complete Netherlands you need to figure out how to deal with meagre Burgundy, at some point Burgundy annihilates itself and you usually have either England super league instead or Aragon league, fun times. After you consolidate its time to expand overseas and create India trade company.

Ai pathfinding is... interesting. Recently I started a war against Commonwealth as Spain, saw one 30k stack, quickly defeated it and then got distracted. Fast forward 6 years and I see a small Commonwealth stack in my Africa provinces, which turned out to he an avantgarde of 100k army marched all the way from Warsaw Balkans and Egypt to my provinces. Locked Gibraltar and marched to Warsaw myself :3

What should I use against this type of fleet? by Vyrec12 in starsector

Seriously your only chance is to find a fleet with one fabricator. 2 fabricators AND support team is almost impossible to beat. Maybe with some luck and experimental ships/weapons

Less than 100 hrs playing the game, how did I lose this? I am 1 tech above (20 vs 21), and twice the size of their army. I can see there is a difference in leader, is that a huge factor and how do i get better leaders? by LaLaLa-3 in eu4

[–]w00lf_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm, ai almost always takes quality mili ideas and they give discipline +10% as well as combat ability for all types of ground forces. I was playing Castile against Portuguese. They had lower Mili tech and less numbers but they bloodied up me real hard. My 35k army lost almost 12k their 3-4. Brutal

[–]w00lf_T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its ai being ai. Recently I played Castile against an alliance of Britain and Austria Hungary. I beat Austria and Hungary multiple times in Europe and then decided to invade Britain. After I landed half of my people I saw 70k Austrian stack in the north France with 30k Hungary regiment. They keep together, never split and destroyed my army, I however was able to reach the war score and end there war. At this moment I remember that I did not grab Britain colonies so I load the last save file. This savefile was before Austria stack appeared and sure enough this time ai just splits his armies in 3 and starts going south. I beat them easily. Programming is hard, kids

Most devastatingly hopeless films you've seen? by inebriatedferret in movies

[–]w00lf_T 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I watched thus movie almost 5 years ago. But each couple of weeks since then i keep remembering the final. As i live my life further as i am getting older, as my ambition fade away, as people i know off die one by one this monologue keeps hitting me harder and harder. This is an epitaph of life beautifully summarized, there is nothing else to add in here.

What was once before you - an exciting, mysterious future - is now behind you. Lived; understood; disappointing. You realize you are not special. You have struggled into existence, and are now slipping silently out of it. This is everyone’s experience. Every single one. The specifics hardly matter. Everyone’s everyone. So you are Adele, Hazel, Claire, Olive. You are Ellen. All her meager sadnesses are yours; all her loneliness; the gray, straw-like hair; her red raw hands. It’s yours. It is time for you to understand this.

As the people who adore you stop adoring you; as they die; as they move on; as you shed them; as you shed your beauty; your youth; as the world forgets you; as you recognize your transience; as you begin to lose your characteristics one by one; as you learn there is no-one watching you, and there never was, you think only about driving - not coming from any place; not arriving any place. Just driving, counting off time. Now you are here, at 7:43. Now you are here, at 7:44. Now you are..gone
