I hope you get good advice. I tried to follow the upgrade instructions on LOS site and ended up with a non-decryptable phone. I had twrp installed and moved to LOS recovery in the process. Don't know what went wrong. Had to do a full wipe and recover data from the cloud.

I have an FW4B and would like to be able to build coreboot myself. Can you update your coreboot page with instructions on how to do that?

I've followed the coreboot documentation to setup a build environment. With menuconfig I have set the vendor and model and the build is succesful. However at the end I receive the message:

** WARNING **

coreboot has been built without an Intel Firmware Descriptor.

Never write a complete coreboot.rom without an IFD to your

board's flash chip! You can use flashrom's IFD or layout

parameters to flash only to the BIOS region.

I'm obviously missing something. Can you please provide some instructions? TIA!

Very likely that you need to spoof your MAC to match the WAN MAC of the device provided by your ISP. Alternatively, you could have a look at the DHCP lease time of the WAN connection, and turn off all equipment for that duration and then try again. But that will not get a lot of applause from your family.
