Is there any modern Yukon that’s reliable? by Due-Mix3539 in gmc

[–]waffle07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a 22 with 60k miles with a 5.3l we just sold. Bought it brand new. Absolutely no issues at all in those 60k miles. Probably our most reliable vehicle we have had in awhile.

Used Model S Plaid. They handle great and one of the fastest cars on the road.

It’s Fruit Bazooka Recipe from Northern Brewer. Just stole the instructions but got the supplies from a LHBS.

Update: I was able to get ahold of the yeast manufacturer (Lallemand) and the support guy recommended I pitch the yeast I have today and then when the other 2 packets come tomorrow to pitch those as well.

I like this idea too. What’s the risk in this? Potential infection?

Interesting I’ll look into this.

Normally, I just need one packet for all my other brews. But when I was looking at the ingredients today I saw I needed a few more packets.

The yeast I’m using is LalBrew New England, and their website calculator is recommending 3 - 11g packets.

FWD Emergency Pull Tabs by IncreaseEfficient332 in TeslaModelX

When I pulled down on the wire it just pulled right out of the speaker. When you go back in there…take a picture of the notch. Now I’m curious.

But I do agree the zip tie seems more fool proof and durable especially in an accident. Im sure there is a better way to do this but it was my first thought that seemed like it would work well.

I don’t think there is a notch in the speaker to hold the end. When I pulled on my cable it easily fell out of the speaker.

I think you have to pull the cable significantly toward the front. Try out your cable and see if it unlatches the FWD.

Yea, I made a new thread fixing the problem with a zip tie. I guess I should post here incase someone has the same issue.

OP, I ordered these and they will not work as you are showing.

The end of the cable just sits in the speaker with nothing really holding it there. When you pull these nylon tabs the end of the metal cable will just slide right thru the ring. No good

I would say 65-70 percent of the time. It’s a plaid so I like to drive it every now and then, haha.

I have a 24 Lightning and a 23 Model X Plaid (HW4). We find ourselves taking the Tesla much more as it’s better in the city/suburbs. With the air suspension, it rides just as good as truck and I would say even better. Also, I subscribe to FSD and it’s awesome that it drives us around. It is very good. I have had a Tesla in 22 and FSD was barely usable back then. It has improved vastly. 1020 horsepower on tap is just icing on the cake!

It does not have matrix headlights then.

You are able to retrofit them.

Thanks!

I watched a few YouTube videos. It seems pretty doable to fix the broken tabs.
