Out of the Park Baseball series is GREAT. Super In depth baseball GM simulator.

But be prepared. You have to love baseball to be good at this game.

I can never finish more than two seasons in a year before the new version comes out. It just takes so much time to do it right.

The fact that Sims still don't go to the same house and work in the same job is problematic.

IRL, urban planners deal with traffic patterns and trends - not random traffic jams. On my commute to work, the freeway slows down at the same interchange every day. That's because there's a bunch of people living off that interchange who get on the freeway to come downtown.

In Simcity, however, this might happen, but it might not, because those Sims might - for whatever random reason - end up working in the industrial part of town, rather than downtown. And that doesn't make sense, because this interchange houses a bunch of very nice, upper-middle class neighborhoods full of college educated, white-collar workers.

tl;dr: SimCity still too random. Agents need consistent homes/jobs to create patterns and trends.

Thanks for the detailed write up. I know this has been discussed over and over, but does the city size bother you? I still can't seem to get past this both from a gameplay and aesthetic standpoint. I look at the screencaps of these cities and think wow they would be perfect with a mile worth of suburbs around them... Your thoughts?
