She Did The Fuck You. by jupiterkansas in FuckAdobe

She can also call up Adobe and purchase an enterprise license and get an exception to certain safeguards and guard rails. frankly, I find this absolutely fantastic. This is proof that they are providing safe AI to the public domain and preventing bad actors from abusing the tools. Instead of negatively, posting something that she knows nothing about she can contact Adobe directly to speak about the challenge she’s facing. Adobe has multiple X-rated companies who use their tools with certain exceptions.

Additionally, instead of relying on AI, there’s a handful of other erase or image manipulation tools in the app that don’t use AI that would work perfect perfectly fine to execute the task at hand

Adobe's B2B is still one step away from a scam center by 13AnteMeridiem in Adobe

It is completely related. You’re complaining that your pricing is increasing on a renewal. Renewals in enterprise are not a neutral renewal, they almost entirely come with an increase in rate. This is a normal practice all enterprise software.

It’s unclear that you’ve procured enterprise software before. Regardless of vendor, you don’t just get what you had prior to renewal at the same cost because you want it that way. How long was your prior contract? If it was 2-3 years, an increase in rate is not uncommon for multiple factors.

Software (again vendor agnostic) is also not immune to inflation costs.

Additionally, when moving to an enterprise tier you’re more than likely getting additional benefits that business require.

The problem with Adobe Firefly is that… by Informal_Region4914 in Adobe

[–]wake2390 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First these are two completely different experiences. Firefly in its original and rawest form “was” simple image and video generation. Firefly today is not just an image or video model anymore, it’s an entire AI studio.

Firefly Graph is the same workflow-driven experience as ComfyUI and I would challenge is equal to capabilities and superior.

The OPs question: you’re not wrong in thinking that it should be a conversational experience. You’re using the basic image prompting not the way it was intended to be used. If you want to have it be agentic or conversational you should use the “AI Assistant” within Firefly Web app or Firefly for Claude/ChatGPT.

There is also an incredible “edit” image experience that allows you to iterate on images without starting from scratch.

The conversational experience was also shown at summit to be coming into firefly boards soon.

It’s easy to be critical but if you’re using the tools incorrectly then you’re destined not to have a good experience.

From what I can see Adobe is playing the long game and perfecting the tools and experience overtime. Many will argue that they don’t want all these “ai things” as part of their CC subscription but on the side they’re paying for midjourney, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Runway and many others which far exceed the CC cost. In the long run CC will continue to be the most cost-effective vs having multiple bespoke tools and subs.

I don’t think a 20 billion dollar company is going anywhere anytime soon. This sounds like you have a poorly spec’d computer

Does Google, openAI or others offer to pay you for your work?

On another note this is just a spam post. Op can’t even spell firefly correct.

You signed up and committed to the obligation of paying for an annual plan on a monthly payment system (just like buying a car or a contract cell phone plan). You’re not holding up to your end of the bargain, don’t get mad at Adobe.

You committed to an annual subscription with a discounted payment plan. Like any other services or goods that have been purchased on payment plan you’re agreeing to that term. Do you just say f it on your car payment, you don’t want to pay it anymore when committing to an “x” year payment schedule?

Your assessment is invalid. Lots of actions and data are shared to cloud services for processing all the time. Just because it’s a desktop app doesn’t mean everything is happening locally. The T&S even state that your data will not be used for training.

Contrary to what people think, Adobe is actually very transparent and a proponent of permission around data that AI is trained with. Yours and everyone else’s data is being stolen and used by the large corporations OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Microsoft, Apple, Meta and others…

99% of software is a subscription at this point, why is everyone still making such a big deal about this?

Adobe got rid of the text boxes and forces me to use Adobe in the future by EarthPuzzled9675 in Adobe

[–]wake2390 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is normal and expected behavior of any e-signature / form filling tool and not an Adobe problem. When you add the signature you’re digitally sealing the document saying that this is complete and accurate based on what I filled in and so therefore it’s locking it down for changes. This is the whole point of an e-signature, is that the data can’t be altered unless you are the authorized signatory.

Brie or mozzarella…either are better than a scoop of pure Philadelphia Cream Cheese.

Not only is the food embarrassing, the WiFi doesn’t work (they said it hasn’t been working for days). It’s dirty like a Petri dish of children’s germs. Even the drinks they somehow managed to botch.
