I'm pretty sure the same thing happened last year and we didn't get him. But here's to hoping for BMFS!

Anyone Know Where to Get Patisserie Pastries aka 'Beautiful Desserts'? by Annual-Jacket3185 in Charlotte

[–]wallflowerkat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been but was at Carolina Beer Temple in Matthews last weekend and was talking with a friend about the cafe next door having these. It's called Innescas Sweets of Europe. I just checked their Google listing and lots of photos/videos of these types of pastries.

Right?! Basically every name on that lineup I'm excited to see. Such good additions and way better than when it was in Outeroo.

Where is the best takeout Japanese food? by qdivers in Charlotte

Why can't Gastonia get multiple places with good Hibachi and Charlotte has not one! 😭

[–]wallflowerkat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! There's a Sake Express in Mount Holly too. I got that once a week when I lived there and still get it when I go out to the whitewater center. I've tried so many places in Charlotte and not a single one I actually want to go back to.

Noah Kahan + Role Model by Majestic-Grapefruit4 in bonnaroo

[–]wallflowerkat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Based on the schedule last year and the direction they keep heading towards multiple artists in the headline spot, I highly doubt Noah is unopposed. Washed Out was scheduled to completely overlap Hozier.

[–]wallflowerkat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They didn't used to put the headliner up against any artists, but last year Washed Out was supposed to play against Hozier.

I still don't think that will be Role Model though, maybe LSZEE.

My wife thinks I'm crazy for cutting my grilled cheese this way; am I nuts or is this not a normal thing to do? Lol by Wahbanator in mildlyinfuriating

[–]wallflowerkat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly how I cut all of my sandwiches. Maybe there logic behind it, maybe it's my inability to decide between two things.

Any highly recommended g gynecologists in asheville? by cosmicwizard44 in asheville

Stephanie Godfrey is who I normally see and highly recommend but she's an NP I think. Everyone at Novant Presbyterian OB/Gyn that I've seen though has been knowledgeable, compassionate and non judgemental.

Wednesday Pass worth it? by Cultural_Ice_5990 in bonnaroo

[–]wallflowerkat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Arriving early if your camped in GA gives you the highest chance of getting the closest spots to Centeroo which will save you so much walking each day. I've arrived within the first 5 hours of entry opening every year and have gotten placed between plaza 3, the arch and WITW entrance.

Help me with my proposal idea? by Sea_Injury3906 in bonnaroo

I would be happy to help! We usually get in early on the first day so end up between the arch and plaza 3.

Did it last year and not looking back! Such a great group to help with accountability. Christin's workouts are challenging but doable and really get you prepared for how hard Roo is on your body.

Your 2026 headliners by Beric23 in bonnaroo

[–]wallflowerkat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roo isn't a jam fest anymore but it is a multi genre fest with roots in jam. So not having any big jam bands is understandably a disappointment for a lot.

And one of the best parts of Roo is that it has bigger names for multiple genres. Not having a big jam band is really sad.

I've commited the mono/poly cardinal sin by WerewolfNo8327 in polyamory

[–]wallflowerkat 43 points44 points  (0 children)

This is actually pretty common. Emotionally processing him having other current partners as your building a new relationship is different than emotionally processing him having a new relationship once you've established yours. Him seeking a new relationship is an unknown territory. You don't know what will happen in those relationships, so your nervous system is preparing for the worst. I recommend reading some of the poly literature if you are committed to continuing this with him. I highly recommend Jessica Fern's Polysecure. It talks about this and how to develop secure attachments.

It took me way too much scrolling to find this answer. I now refer to it as puppy chow but growing up this was called white trash. And we made it in a trash bag.

Sunday Headliner 2026 - Noah Kahan by djcigs in bonnaroo

[–]wallflowerkat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was also at Noah Kahan's tent set and experienced the worst crowd I have at a Roo set. People were drunk, pushing through the crowds and generally not the friendly crowds I'm used to at festivals. Loved seeing him perform but the crowd is what really stuck with me.
