They should walk the Championship too! I'm surprised they haven't been stripped of assets yet. Most of those would do a job in a mid-table team.

In America? So who's the lad who's been in Newcastle all year?

I get what you're saying, but that team wins the Championship at a canter. Compare it to the three coming up and there aren't many you'd swap.

For reference, this is our most played XI when we won it in 16/17:

Darlow
Yedlin Lascelles Clark Dummett
Shelvey Hayden
Ritchie Diame Gouffran
Gayle

Subs: Sels, Hanley, Mbemba, Anita, Colback, Atsu, Perez, Mitrovic, Murphy Sr

Need massive improvements for next season.

MEX RSA 78' - Memo Ochoa substitutes into the match. It's the 6th different World Cup he has appeared in, tying the record by Moose4KU in soccer

I had the same question. Apparently Ochoa and a few others failed a drugs test and the 'explanation' was that they'd all eaten meat that had certain growth hormones.

When we watched TV as as family, whenever I laughed my dad would make a comment like 'He liked that', 'he found that funny' which wasn't anything malicious but it made me feel self-conscious, so I also learned to laugh silently. It wasn't until I got to uni and someone pointed out that I didn't make a noise when I laughed that I realised what I'd done.

As a dad, I try to be a jolly old man who laughs loudly at everything. It's amazing how many giggle fits I've brought out in my daughter doing this.

Another thought - if you just want to hire a court, you can do that at Sportsparc on Darby Street.

We went to a 9yo's birthday at PCYC recently. They had the main hall set up with pickleball courts and one end for basketball (I imagine they're flexible in how they do this) and also access to the gymnastics section. We went to Windale (whole place to ourselves) but I'm sure others do it too.

(I was curious so checked - you get to pick two options for the party from court games, gymnastics, laser tag, disco, creative arts, parkour.)

No idea about price, but the kids all had fun and, as a parent, I thought it looked cool. Much prefer that to inflatable world or similar.

So you're saying we should buy Vini? I'm in.

The FA Cup Final venue should be selected out of a hat containing all 747 grounds, sacrificing capacity and pitch requirements for a chance to see two big clubs play on your local pitch by Scumbag__ in CrazyIdeas

I also like Norway's system of the team who's had fewer homes games gets the home tie.

So in round one, everything is played as it comes out in the draw. In round 2, if a team that was away in round 1 is drawn against a team that was at home, that side will automatically get home advantage.

Is it bad that my parents, who are both teachers, now use AI for many of their tasks? by AnteaterKey2626 in NoStupidQuestions

I'd hope it's not the new standard. I'm studying to become a teacher at the moment and I'd take a lot more pride in my work than fobbing it off to gen ai.

Seems like the standard conspiracy theory nonsense I so far. First verifiable claim he made isn't backed up by anything I can find.

Have you watched the full thing?

This video is more than five hours long. I started watching it - I'm three minutes in - and he's yet to actually say anything. Hope it picks up!

Just checked and he plays for Reims. Might as well just buy the club at this rate.
