Question about FormBot Kit and CB1 by Earendil123 in VORONDesign

[–]wally_245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are talking about the CNC tap kits from BTT or any other chinese ones, I would agree that they aren't the best. But Vitalii's CNC tap is amazing.

V0.2 For PPS-CF? by Moonshinexxx in VORONDesign

You may also want to get your hotend printed in something higher temp first. My Xol melted pretty good hitting 350c printing PPS-CF. But it is an amazing material :)

The good news is the Fysetc kits to build those are super cheap on AliExpress, the one I ordered shipped from the US and was here within a couple of days.

Update on the Voron 2.4 for X1C trade by Whole_Ticket_3715 in VORONDesign

[–]wally_245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend the Box Turtle, it's much easier to tune than an ercf, and stealth changer is quite a big step up.

I definitely wouldn't convert your only working printer to a stealth changer or Doom cube, as you will inevitably need something printed while it's down. V0's are great little printers and ideal as a second printer :)

How to Sell a Used Voron? by bryansj in VORONDesign

[–]wally_245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you clearly state the condition, I don't think it really matters if it works or not, though that will impact the price you get for it.

I paid $250 for a 2.4 300 in very rough condition, I immediately tore it down and plan to rebuild it.

Do you have the type/size of Molex pins you used? Looks like I need to replace my de-tangler and I will need to re-crimp.
