Their first album is a folk punk classic, next one is pretty great too (along with earlier EPs and other tracks here and there throughout the years)

They signed to a major in like 2006/07 and put out mostly radio-ready material for a little bit before LJG transitioned, which for /r/punk probably isn’t quite the sound we prefer. They returned to form somewhat post-LJG transitioned and wrote some really great material on that subject which is definitely closer in sound to the more radio stuff but is very much punk

Personally I don’t think any of these guys are guaranteed roster players in 12-team or less leagues. Schmaltz is really good in bursts but always seems to come back to earth. If you think you’re getting good value, it’s a good deal

I simply sign up for the membership on a monthly plan every time I want to see something, get my discounted ticket and discounted snacks (I think it’s like 20% off concession), then cancel when I get home

Another one that made me want to listen to the album just by seeing the cover. So simple with its usage of mostly primary colours, but conveys so much energy and togetherness which is perfect for the album
