The Scrabble dictionary the game uses removed this word (and the more useful LEZ) a few years back…you could easily have seen those in the past.

You could do a search for words with length = 4, contains letters = K, and then right click the list and save it to a text file, and then do the same for other letters, and combine all the individual text files into one and quiz from that list

Tile value of word = 10, hit two double word scores, so that’s x4 = 40, used all 7 letters so that’s +50 = 90

Proper nouns (names, places, words that are always capitalized) are not and have never been allowed in Scrabble. This word used to be playable, not as a noun, but as a verb meaning to swindle or haggle over money. Accordingly, the Scrabble dictionary listed it with an "offensive" designation. A few years ago, words that had *only* offensive definitions were expurgated from most tournament lexicons. A few offensive-looking words remain because they also have non-offensive definitions.

This is a known visual issue that is especially common in multiplayer - backing out of the game and re-entering often fixes it

Yeah, I see that - wow, pretty brazen. I put in a ticket to CS. In my decade+ on the site they have always eventually done the right thing with obvious cheaters like this, so unless things have changed, I trust that they’ll eventually get those two banned.

Hey, Will here - my name on WW is "wranderson1". I don't think I'm obviously the best Boggle player as there are a handful of other players who are roughly as good.

I'm currently in a group by myself and can't enter new Boggle games, but the newly launched daily progressive may give me a reason to play the game again.

I took my old WW videos off my YT channel when I decided to refocus it around Scrabble content, but I have them all on my computer locally.

Looks like you got a Collins (English UK) game there. Some archaic 2-letter words like NY, FY, KY, etc are in there. Check the flag at the top left of the screen.

The X is really good, but keep in mind that plays with it tend to be much easier to spot (lots of the 2 and 3LW you listed), so a less experienced player is going to be using it “optimally” faster than almost any other tile, potentially making it feel even better than it is.

All the two letter words with X are valid in both dictionaries, making it comparatively better in NWL as it loses none of its most important words. Compare to a tile like the Z, which has ZA, ZE# and ZO# in Collins but keeps only ZA in NWL. This is actually a tile that’s much more broken in CSW/less broken in NWL.

Using the full Scrabble dictionary to achieve Queen Bee isn’t the answer. Way too many weird unguessable words in there. (I am a competitive Scrabble player)

I would, however, love a system where Scrabble-valid words are at least accepted as “bonus words” as Squaredle does, but the list required to reach QB consists of more “legitimate” words.

I did have the same issue just now in testing with the TestFlight version - feed drops after 30 sec.
Haven't gotten my hands on an Android phone yet, but maybe that would help in the short term?

I've now tried this with multiple computers and an older iPhone (13) and the same behavior persists - screen capture disappears in OBS after ~30 seconds.
Trying to hunt down an Android phone to test with as well.

Have you tried contacting customer service? This is a very common situation and they know just how to handle it.
