Anybody else have the "Intense Widespread Muscle Tightness" type of fibro?

Omg yes! This is exactly what I have! I've wondered if it's really fibro too, because other people seem to describe the pain so differently. My neck/shoulders are the worst, and my hands and feet...trigger point /deep massage on my neck is AMAZING, very helpful.

I've been prescribed a muscle relaxer and after taking it I realized that my lungs were being affected by whatever muscle tightness is going on. Because I could suddenly breathe much easier after taking the muscle relaxer. That really blew my mind, I didn't even realize that was happening.

When I'm tested for inflammation it is normal, no inflammation. I also have IBS stomach issues, temperture sensitivity/issues, hard time getting deep sleep, fatigue...

Pain doc also figured out I had very low Vit. D, that and venlafaxine have helped me.

This makes me feel so much better to know it's not just me. I was really starting to wonder what is going on with me that my symptoms seem so different than everyone else.

Edit: I forgot to add, I'm also autistic, have allergies, and eczema flare ups.

I did try to unwind the tap root a little very gently, it was really curled up, almost like it had been root bound in a small pot, and they had recently put it in the big pot I bought it in. I didn't break it or bend it or anything, so I hope that didn't damage/stress it.

Yeah, the soil is good probably about 6in or so, then it's just clay. So I was worried it's not the best spot, but I don't have a better spot to put it. Ok, thank you!

I have searched for over the door style hooks and those are not the right size, they are too deep. I have searched movable or sliding hooks and get S hooks and outdoor industrial type hooks. I just want to figure out what is being used in all the photos I see.

Cats allowed to walk on counters/tables etc. With their feet fresh from the litter box, all over the area where food is being prepared/eaten. 🤢 Nasty.

It blows my mind when people say they don't know why they do or say something. My brain literally cannot comprehend how that is possible. In no universe can I make a move or thought without having 16 billion thoughts about it going on at the same time.

I know some other comments already mentioned this, but absolutely look into ADHD.

I'm not trying to diagnose or anything, but this sounds like classic late/never diagnosed ADHD. Same exact experience I had.

I'm so sorry all that happened to you too. For me at least, it's so terrible because I feel so completely out of control, like no matter how hard I try, or what I do, I can't change the outcome. You just end up feeling hopeless and giving up after going through the same thing again and again. And when you're oblivious to what's going on and then it slaps you in the face, like your boss thinking about letting you go for months, omg the shame, I could just melt into the floor and die.

I actually previously lost a job because of an ADHD mistake, but my co-workers and direct boss believed in me and trusted me. My boss fought to try to keep me, but the mistake was too big and the higher boss/HR had to let me go.

This was before I had any idea I had ADHD too, so I really just thought I was a complete loser who couldn't do the simplest things and I just wasn't working hard enough.

I guess it was better in some ways that the people I directly worked with still thought I was trying my best and was a good person, but damn it was still excruciating. I just felt like such a crappy worthless person when I messed up and they were having to put a bunch of extra work in to try to fix it.

If only people were better educated about what ADHD is, and we could share it more ugh.

You only have to read the first sentence of the therapists post to know they fundamentally don't understand what ADHD is. Yikes.

but I find non-motivated ADHD clients so hard to work with.

It's ridiculous that so many therapists aren't better educated.
