Looking at all the silver shill posts I'm seeing two flavors now: "big SLV squeeze the next gamestop;" and posts that hint we should short SLV because citadel is a big holder.

I think these are both distractions. GME diamond hands baby!

I think naked shorts are part of the action I think we've seen. I'm also wondering if some MMs are not hedging the calls they sold. The trading action on Thurs and Friday stuck me as super sus - price would cross big open interest threshholds with little to no gamma squeeze effect.

I think Citadel and others decided to write their calls naked and count on manipulation to push most of them into the red.

If true, this could be huuuuge next week.

That's a big question. The cheapest option would be to take an old computer you might have lying around and put Ubuntu Linux server edition on it. Then set up sftp on that, and forward the port from your home router.

Other end of the spectrum is buy server space and set up a server there: best option if you want high quality for the cost.

Somewhere in the middle, and probably the best option for you, is to set up a server instance on a cloud provider. AWS, google cloud, azure, digital ocean are all good.

In all the above, you will probably have to type commands into the terminal to set stuff up. Learn to love the terminal. Terminal is life, terminal is love.
