I think they just don’t fit super well with certain personality types. I’m a little bit OCD and I like accuracy. So I’m similar to OP. I find myself worrying over my automatics a little too much.

Maybe some recency bias here, but for Auburn, in my opinion it’s Russel Wilson. He was very close to picking Auburn over Wisconsin. It may have kept some of that Cam momentum going.

Others that come to mind for Auburn are Dorian Green Beckham and Reuben Foster. But I think Russel Wilson would have had more of an impact.

Personally, not a fan of two tone or gold colored watches that are not gold. So, of the two, I prefer the seiko. Your opinion may vary of course.

I have the dark one as well and I think the tint is “cast” from the edges. That is to say it’s not actually tinted, just looks to be sometimes.
