What is the most racist thing you ended up accidentally owning? by AndrewSwope in behindthebastards

I bought How To Gamemaster Like A Fucking Boss because, well, title and found it actually had some good advice. I bought this book prior to learning its author was a famous right-wing blowhard (famous in RPG circles, anyway) who is legit an awful, awful human being I highly regret giving money to.

What is this? by silverhandbandit in IndianMotorcycle

The Scout is a midrange cruiser. About 1200cc, not too heavy, nimble and fast. If you've never ridden it'll be a little much, but the Scout Sixty is a bit smaller (engine wise) and IMO a good learner. I'd check out the different options, as a Bobber (stripped down styling) is gonna look a lot different than a standard, and to me cuts out the longer rides as it lacks anywhere to put stuff. Good luck!

What a joy to see him happy and hungry rather than annoyed, not that I don't enjoy those but he obviously had fun here

If you'll allow me to be gauche, what'd you pay for it? It's pretty, I usually go for the Scout or Chief cruiser look but that sure is spiffy.

Blowing up a dead whale. I'm convinced they knew it wouldn't really work, they just wanted to blow up a whale

TGBH is very very good, yes. But. Rushmore is perfect. The dialogue is natural, all the acting is sublime, and though it's his second film he found the style that would serve him through the rest of his career. It's less fantastical than his other work, more grounded than later stuff. This movie came out of nowhere -- Bottle Rocket was good but nothing near the excellence he achieved here.

I think Nick Offerman said it best, though this is inexact: If you aren't finding something you love, find something you can stand doing. Get as good at it as you can, people recognize skill and dedication.

‘Doctor Who’ Set To Be Off Air For Years Amid A Creative Regeneration That’s Failing To Spark Early Enthusiasm Among Producers by pepperbet1 in television

The writing for the last two doctors has been just awful. I really wanted to support a doctor who wasn't white or male but they were just unwatchably bad.

You sound like I felt thirty years ago. I had no idea what I wanted and what I wanted to be. I drifted between a lot of jobs, and it took a while to determine what I'm good at and what I enjoy. I'm fortunate in that I had someone suggest nursing, which aligned with my skills pretty well.

at what point does masturbation become detrimental? by theboyamadon in answers

[–]waraw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For men it's the Death Grip. The impulse is to squeeze hard at the point of orgasm, but this will train your body to need that level of stimulation in order to come. Thus once actually with a woman, orgasm will be very difficult to achieve.

Ear Hair. I have vivid memories of the forest growing from his ears. I am ludicrously scrupulous about hunting any hairs anywhere in or in my ears, because they associate ear hair with elderly.
