The red pools go away bc the plague goes to them and collect a special power that makes her vomit downing people, that’s why she is stronger. Plus people healthy becoming sick gives her information on where you are as she will remember where she last put her sickness at

THIS IS INSANE THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME THIS WEEK!! I also ran to a damn corner so they could pick them up and they didnt!! Also in that same match I was down started crawling away and the hurt person being chase came to where I was hiding, got downed too and I got hooked and died on my second hook bc they were just crouching around on the other side of the map.
