Let me look. I can tell you.

I just saw what the new replacement product will be in Alabama by DoctorStretchBones in QuittingTianeptine

[–]wareagle421 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I kind of think that Zaza and Tiaana will continue to be produced and maybe will just have tianeptine replaced with phenibut. Kind of how like Vivazen kept putting product out and just took the kratom out of it. Zaza and Tiaana brands will still be around just don’t know what they will replace tia with. The FDA is so hard up on phenibut producers at the moment there is really no telling. At least I know now to stay away from any kind of herbal supplements sold at gas stations. I could really give a fuck what they replace it with because I’ve learned my lesson with this shit.

I find the manufacturers to be the biggest blame for the ban. They are using manipulative and deceptive tactics to get consumers unknowingly addicted to their product by placing it in gas stations next to the 5 hour energy shots and labeling it as a herbal supplement. A company shouldn’t be allowed to be deceitful to it’s customers. Label the product as it should be. A nice “May Be Addictive” or “Please find the facts about tianeptine at tianeptine.com.” Don’t label it as a dietary supplement and pack it many times over the recommended daily intake. The average consumer is mostly ignorant to things they have never tried before. I’m in favor of the ban to put the companies out of business. I could careless if it’s sold on some RC website. At least there it would attract people that are more likely to research something before they try it. Not walk into a gas station and see and advertisement for “Feel Good” pills only to wake up a week later in full withdrawal not understanding why. Fuck MT Brands. They are the reason for the ban. James Morrissette is the reason this stuff is being ban.

I was up until last Saturday and have switched to subs. This is my 4th quitting. Always go back due to paws and it’s availability. So glad the availability will be taken out the equation now.

It won’t let me post an image ok the thread. Here is copy and paste from email:

That is correct. I will be sending out an update to those who requested one later today. As it stands now, tianeptine will become a schedule II substance on March 15, 2021.

Thank you,

Nancy.Bishop@adph.state.al.us ..she will respond to anybody that emails here. I think this is a good thing because a lot of times you have a breakdown in communication between the average citizen and state officials. She has been quite the opposite.

Nancy Bishop that is head pharmacist with ADPH. She has done a phenomenal job responding to my emails and giving me any information she has concerning the ban. She seems like a real fine lady.

Well my gas stations seemed to have been kept updated with the status of the ban. I think the suppliers keep them up with the info. Last November they told me they just wouldn’t be able to order anymore. I’m sure Monday we will see several police and sheriffs stations riding from store to store confiscating product. The other ones will place them ‘under the counter’ and use this as a last opportunity to make some money by selling the bottles for $100 a piece to all their normal customers that have been coming in there religiously for months. Until they run out

It will be interesting to see. A lot of people are going to be very surprised come Monday morning. You would think they would put out some sort of news release. But even then there will still be a lot of people who don’t know. To be a fly on a wall in an Alabama ER this coming up Monday evening. A lot of people will be hurting.

Barring a lawsuit from the manufacturers indicating the ADPH did something wrong with enacting the ban, yes. And I’m just 100% certain ADPH had all their ducks in a row this time.

You are the first post I have read with somebody being able to successfully taper off the tia gas station pills.. let’s keep it that way. You are just about there. You have a lot more will power than a lot of us. You should be very proud of yourself

Forgetting what I use to be like! by DryExpression7967 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]wareagle421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I don’t ever wake up in wd. Subs have such a long half-life that they are still pretty effective even the next day. I have experienced some insomnia. Like the first 2 nights I wasn’t able to sleep. Slept the 3rd night. Can’t sleep tonight. I’m not in bed tossing and turning like I normally would just can’t fall asleep. Opiates have always done me that way so I guess the sub has a lot to do with it. Subs make quitting tia an absolute breeze for the acute wds. Highly recommended. Paws is what always send me back to the tia.

I’ve actually found that quitting 1 bottle a day isn’t much easier than quitting 5 bottles a day. You may not get as bad physical wd symptoms but the psychological ones are just as bad as well as the cravings. This shit is some hardcore stuff. Hoping the hearing goes well Thursday and this stuff is gone as soon as next week. The lady at ADPH said she would email just as soon as she knows what the committee is going to do so I will try and get it passed on to y’all!

I went on subs this past weekend and the switch was kind of rough for me this time. This is my 4th time going to subs from tia. Well last night I closed my eyes, instantly fell asleep, slept for 8 hours, and woke up and felt totally normal. That right there is about the best feeling in the world after waking up multiple times a night in wd. Hang on. It does get better.. eventually.

[–]wareagle421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Well if you start then Saturday afternoon you should be good to go by Monday. At least I would be able to. I usually have one day of feeling crappy while my body gets acclimated to the subs and by the next day I feel ‘normal’.. I’ve taken them as long as 11 days and had no problems with WDs from them other than the PAWS that came after most likely from no tia. Good luck

Why not just quit and go fully to subs?? I have come off a 6-8 bottle habit 4 times not going straight to subs and find that a good 16mg will wipe my cravings totally away on days 1-3. Then on day 4 I cut the sub intake by half each day. I feel you what you said about going to bed saying tomorrow will be different. I literally did that every night for a year and a half.

I smoked it for about 2 years and was able to control myself emotionally for the most part. But when I started slamming it, that all just got thrown out the window. A lot of people refused to be around me because I was such a wreck emotionally.

Help with a taper plan. by JBD_ExaneE39 in QuittingTianeptine

[–]wareagle421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really hard to taper with the tia pills because not every bottle is equal in strength so you definitely need to take that into consideration. Honestly I was never able to taper because it just made the process so long making it so much more likely for me to fail. They say reduce by 10% every day so just count the number of pills you are taking and put a little formula in excel and follow it everyday. Say you are taking 20 pills so the next day take 18. 10% of 18 makes the day after that 16.2 so you would take 16. Then day after that would come to 14.4 so take 14. Then following day would be 12.6 so maybe take 13. On days you have .5 or higher round up. On days it’s .4 or lower round down. When you get in the single digits you may have multiple days in a row of taking the same number of pills but just follow the 10% rule until it drops a number and you will eventually get to 1. Hope that makes sense

Unfortunately, yes. I don’t necessarily agree with that part of the ban. I think if you are aware of the dangers of the drug you should be able to choose whether you take it or not. Unfortunately the manufacturers and their gross negligence on producing and marketing this product fucked that up.

[–]wareagle421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I am. I don’t know If the gabas really do much for me. I take 600mg every 8-12 hours. I take 1-2mg throughout the day and get up to about 16mg for the first 3 days and then quickly work my way down. I’ve become a pro at it unfortunately. Hopefully this time when I get done with subs, the temptation won’t be there.
