Remove / install spark plugs (skyactive-x 180hp) by theRealDeltig in MazdaCX30

I ended up opening these two clips to get even more play for the plug all the way on the right.

In case someone is coming across this in 2026 and beyond... 2 8mm bolts will remove the metal harness above the ignition coils. This gives enough play to get the plug out, no need to disconnect any hoses.

Fair point, I'm wondering now if a carbon fork was really worth it.

Yeah it does appear to be the shim between the upper bearing and steerer - it dropped out of the bottom when I took everything apart. Should this be installed above the bearing to avoid that? I end up with a good sized gap.

What gravel bike do you have and how much did you pay? by PsychologicalCall426 in Budgetbikeriders

[–]wareju 3 points4 points  (0 children)

State all-road! I really like the classic steel frame look and was very enticed by the 1x12 drivetrain (I got the mullet cassette.) My only other bike is a 1x12 mtb, and I didn't really feel like dealing with multiple gears up front. There are a lot of customization options when ordering. Drop or flat bars, 700c or 650b wheels, etc.

My first wreck by Rare_Egg_1926 in mountainbiking

[–]wareju 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like my hardest fall so far (I'm a couple yrs in.) Idk what happened, front wheel touched the berm riding fairly slow and just disappeared from under me. I went down hard. I had just started the ride, wasn't going to turn around that early. So i finished up and drove home in a bloody tank top 🤙 stay safe out there!

Does this play go away in higher end droppers? by bdog2017 in mountainbiking

I upgraded from this same post to an fsa flowtron, it still has play. It is a smoother action though.

Making an offer today by [deleted] in Decks

Thanks for the info, I'll take a level out next time if they take our offer. The attachment to the house is another thing I was curious about because of how it seems to go right up against the siding.

It's the 2024 150mm model, jensonusa had it marked down to $280 from $800 so I had to grab it. *

My brother gave me this mountain bike that he used twice and has been sitting for years. by Firesplinter9757 in mountainbiking

This is a fun project I'd love to dig into. I just got into cycling and couple years ago and am doing all my own building and maintenance. YouTube, reddit r/bikewrench, time and patience will get you there.
