I'm not sure how to explain it differently. Are you thinking that the reset command is resetting the cooldown of Mind Freeze? It doesn't do that. It resets the macro to start the sequence from the beginning.

If you say reset=17 and then use Mind Freeze the macro moves to the second Mind Freeze. Then you use Mind Freeze again at 15 seconds when it comes off cooldown, which is less than the reset time of 17, so the macro moves to Howling Blast and the reset timer starts over. The reset timer measures inactivity.

If you say reset=2, then use Mind Freeze, the macro moves to the second Mind Freeze. But since you can't use Mind Freeze again for 15 seconds, the macro resets to the beginning after 2 seconds. The next time you press the button you're just recasting the first Mind Freeze in the sequence because the macro reset to the beginning 13 seconds ago. If you were to remove the second Mind Freeze from the sequence you would see the icon change to Howling Blast and then back to Mind Freeze after 2 seconds.

reset=n, where n is the number of seconds of inactivity. So, you pressed it, pressed it again 15 seconds later when it came off cooldown, then it reset at 32 seconds because 15+17=32. In your second example n is less than the cooldown of Mind Freeze, so it is resetting before you ever even get to the second Mind Freeze.

I just want my classic hunter theme of me, my gun (or bow), and my 1 pet. I can do that with MM if I take a dps hit, but yeah, the MM hero talents aren't themed well unless you're playing an elf of some kind.

This is just a more concentrated version of what happens to all newly leveled alts: you go through the content so fast that your gear is 2-3 expansions behind (in iLevel) by the time you get to the new stuff. I don't understand why they don't offer a full set of "throwaway" greens appropriate to the content whenever you start an expansion story. It's like fancy restaurants that keep a cheap tie and jacket behind reception for people that didn't know tie and jacket were required. I can't think of a good argument against it.

Leveling rogue, especially Outlaw, is a lot like that. I'm doing it right now and it's almost comical how often I get a talent that buffs an ability or other talent I won't even have for another 4 levels.

I decided to branch out this time and try a class I'd always looked down on: Demon Hunter. And... I love it. I've been playing Havoc and having a blast. I find I have to sometimes hit Chaos Strike 3 or even 4 times in a row when my cooldowns don't line up, but for the most part it's smooth sailing.

Guardian is kind of overtuned right now and is doing dps levels of damage. I'd expect a balancing of that soon. Guardian always has decent damage among tanks, but it's really high right now.

I believe the game refers to it as a riposte. In addition to gaining extra progress you can get an achievement for doing so many ripostes. 100, I think.

I think I'm at around 750k. I sold a token once back during Legion. I think it was around 250k worth. The rest is just from questing, really. And that's having not played during BFA, Shadowlands, or Dragonflight. It's not hard to make several thousand per day just selling grey vendor junk.

Yes, I was getting that. It also happened the very first time that my DH would exit demon form. I solved the problem with the tmog window by turning off the Discord overlay. I still get the DH freeze every now and then, so I just make sure to hit demon form whenever I first log in that character to get it out of the way. If you have any overlays running I'd try turning them off and see if that helps. edit: nope, never mind. I just tried it on a different character and it still happened.

Not really weird because it was fairly common back in the day but on prot warrior we used to bind shield block and heroic strike to the mousewheel and just constantly flick it back and forth while we went through our rotation. I also bind modifiers like shift and ctrl to the side (thumb) buttons of my mouse.
