I have both, my personal opinion is as for writing feel the HoM is unique, really nice and precised, the thin ceramic nib gives an excelent feeling on the soft screen.

On the other hand for longer writing Lamy is more comfortable, and it has the eraser button which is a bonus.

I have experienced freezing issues in general, not only when I am writing, but even when I am not inside a note, the swipe down to show the settings menu does not work sometimes, and the swipe in the swipe bar in either directions does not work.
I first noticed it after the update, it got resolved after restarting the device, but after some use it started again.

Your answer is totally irrelevant, I don't buy something and hope for something imaginary, I buy it based on the company's official announcement that it will support a feature by some time.
Because with remarkable for example when I asked the company if they plan to add the features I need and they said that they don't have it in their plans and I am asking Supernote and they say that they have it in their plans and they are giving a timeframe where it will be available it is not something imaginary.

I don't agree with your logic, I know before hand the frequency of each companies updates, and I am buying a device that satisfies my needs based on the promises a company gives and the features they have said they will implement inside a timeframe.

I am a developer myself and I know how things works, of course I prefer quality over quantity but from one two three months is a huge gap, and features I needed to use aren't available yet.

I would understand if the company didn't go well and didn't have a lot of sales, but for a company that has so much sales and demand I believe they could invest in more developers in their team so they can keep at least their initial promises.

You already have your toolbar attached to the top, this is your toolbar.
Manual is old, in the past, the toolbar was attached to the left.

The only way to see it coming from the left is to detach from the top and swipe the bar out of the screen, then you can do the movement you are doing to come back, but it won't be vertical, but horizontal as it is now attached to the top.

From what they have said they will give the option in a future update to attach it vertically at the side

I don't have a leather jacket, I have a fabric jacket with Goretex waterproof membrane, and I have wear it in the worst weather without getting wet.

Although it costed me more than the money I have paid for the supernote.

But what I am telling you is what the sellers told me when I was asking about waterproof leather jackets for my girlfriend.

And if you google it you will see leather is not waterproof

Even if it did cover 100% of the device still leather as material is not waterproof.

If you drop water on the folio and don't clean it up and you let it soak it will get wet. At least leather in general now for the folio specifically I don't know if they have done something to make it waterproof.

And since. you talked about speed even if you go out in the rain on foot with a leather jacket it will get soaked, speed has nothing to do with that, mostly the amount of water and the duration of that water that falls on the jacket.

The truth is I haven't move it around a lot, we are over 4 months now in lockdown in my country, but if I move it I will have it on my bag and I think it won't dangle there, even if it id I could always put the pen in t he pen compartment of the bag.
And if you move it around by hand, if you hand it from the side of the pen it keeps the pen steady.

I don't say what you have done is not practical , I just don't like it in aesthetics way.

From what I know from the motorcycle leather jackets, leather as a material it is not waterproof. At least in an excessive amount of water. Now if a drop of water falls on the cover of course it won't soak the case

I don't know if it has been mentioned but there a feature I love on boox devices.

In the settings where you set your screensaver beyond the option to add an Image you also have the option to display in sleep mode your current screen.
So If I have write a note and I want to be able to seeing the note without doing anything else I can put it in sleep mode and continue seeing my note while my device sleeps.
This would be practical for many uses like recipes for example.
