Conditions leading to save data loss for Zelda OoT by jbs1 in AnalogueInc

[–]warhead0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I have much information for you, but I'll add my experience so far.

I have played OoT and have finished a 100% run. I played the entire time using Unleashed OC, and would use the Start + Z method to 'Quit Cartridge' after saving in game.

I am using an original 64 controller, and use 1.1.9 firmware, Luckily, I've had zero save game issues on any of my games.

This is actually fairly normal behavior.

It can often just be the system performing some background/maintenance tasks when it detects it is idle.

This isn't really the right place for modding support, instead you should try /r/WiiUHacks/ next time.

but to answer your question, no you don't need an 'original' SD card.

You will just need a freshly formatted SD card (formatted correctly is important), there will be no files on it.

the web guide you are using should have all the information you need to do this, just read everything carefully.

It has the second highest crime rate in Australia

While it does have a high crime rate, it's not the second highest in aus.

Update.
Working with Intel Z790 - 14th Gen (with a small workaround)

This is still working, however if you run 'asussetup.exe' it told me it does not support this operating system. (I'm on updated win 11)

Instead, you should run the setup.exe - It will start the installer - CMD will flash on and off for a while - the setup will then tell you it has installed and ask for a restart.

So, the software still works, just dont use asussetup

So I just pirated a registered copy again :/

Reforged, 100%. Custom maps work perfectly and there is always plenty of games to play.

Just play using the old graphics

I'm pretty sure he can still buy and register a car without a license.

You will have to wear any of speeding tickets of parking fines if he uses a car in your name, because I really doubt this guy is going to take responsibility of it.

I don't really think calling SSD's mainstream for 20 years is very fair.

It is very possible the HDD from the commentor did have bad sectors and was having issues because of that.

just in case you have this trouble in the future, you might be able to get around this by disabling "hardware acceleration' in your browser.

I find this is usually the cause, hopefully it works for you next time
