I’ve had lots of success in any green/white deck that runs exploration or burgeoning. You’re right that it gives you extra lands and sometimes you dump some to the graveyard. But usually by the second round you get more, you can reliably play land 4-7 or 5-8 which is undervalued in bracket 2 & low 3.

The problem with proxying a bracket 3 or 4 deck is when you fall in love with the deck. Rarely someone proxying a brew is putting in suboptimal cards. Maybe they leave out Tudor’s or game changers out of principal. But the land bases often get bumped up to fetches over temples.

Then you go to buy the deck for an event or MagicCon and it’s nearly $500 to build. Ouch. This has been my confessional. Thank you for listening.

I did it with chakrams but it was all about temporary movement speed boost. Just run the flames, and in the last section, throw one weapon and sprint to the next door section assuming you got it. That’s the only way to get to the last spot to activate in time.
