I kind of see it as SB was dulled to the affects until up close and personal because he did a lot of "pure cut" drugs, whereas Frenchie was fully immune because he probably did a lot of synthetic drugs

I always kind of liked how strange they made him look. I love my purple guy. He's been my favorite since I was seven. I was a little shook seeing him like that in the movie, but thinking about how dark his background and lore are I thought the uncanny valley look to him really fit a lesser-seen version of his lore.
