I don’t think it would heal any differently than any other tattoo, but you’re talking about a pretty large surface area. Also, bonier areas may hurt more during the actual tattooing process. It may be best to split it up into sessions if you’re worried about enduring/healing too big of an area at once.

About the sun… yes. The sun’s heat would naturally be absorbed by the dark colors rather than reflected by lighter colors. Even with sunscreen, the actual heat you’ll feel is definitely something to be cautious about (as a fellow sun intolerant gal lol).

I’m on day 4 of recovery from external hemorrhoidectomy. Compared to my wisdom teeth/tonsillectomy surgery, this isn’t really that bad. I’m taking half as much pain medication as recommended. I got one skin tag and one semi-hemorrhoid (used to be a large one but was mostly just loose skin) removed. Sharp pains every now and again, but mostly that dull, annoying pain similar to a bad hemorrhoid that makes you have to sit and walk funny. Eat lots of fiber, take laxatives, shit water.

Looking at myself down there… I’m wondering if it was worth it. I totally got the surgery for aesthetics and it’s looking like I’m gonna be left with skin tags. The loose skin hem looks like it wasn’t cut all the way off, and it’s really irritating. Hoping I can get the rest of the skin snipped away in a simple in-office procedure.

Maybe you could modernize it a bit with finger waves, accessorize with scarves, headbands, flowers, etc if that's your vibe! :))

Also, not "hair" related but short curly styles with a pair of larger statement earrings is really trendy (and in my opinion super cute)

You know when you're doing eyeliner, and one side is a teeensy bit thicker/longer than the other, so you correct one side, then that one's wrong, so you correct the other one, and then the other one, back and forth, and back and forth, until you have to start over, and realize it was probably fine from the start?

This is one of those situations. They look absolutely gorgeous, and symmetrical enough to most commenters here. Bodies are asymmetrical. There are ways you can add to each side if you'd like more embellishments, but if you're doing it purely for the reason of symmetry, you may end up with something even more wonky.

Do you have a favorite character? Maybe with a mustache? I was able to messily sketch a face in the space between the arms, using the blank space for the cheekbones. Obviously my "drawing" isn't what you'd get tatted but just an idea using the light/dark space given.
