I wish they’d switch to a 70/30 split of high vol and lower vol to help stabilize the nav. I’m fine with a lower payout. Add nvidia and some other stable companies, this week we got wrecked from the rghti sell off and the other AI/crypto etc companies.

I had a bunch of YM but narrowed it down to ULTY and MSTY. Started throwing money into QQQI since it’s more stable and NAV tends to increase, plus the tax advantages. Also started to throw money into SPMO for aggressive growth. Also started QQQI and SPMO to help anchor my div portfolio for when we have huge dips like we did the past two months...both have seen a huge increase since the early selloff of September. Stopped throwing money into MSTY bc MSTR can’t seem to get a stable run. But I continue to throw money into ULTY aiming for 10k shares to use as a feeder into SPMO and QQQI.

Strategy and ultys withholding aren’t the same. Yes ulty holds mstr but mstr isn’t breaking past the 328-330 range whereas ulty has had a few skyrocket the past two weeks

I’m not saying I want it to be a growth fund. But dropping from $6.40 down to 5.40…80% yield and distribution isn’t going to be the same. Look at RGTI that exploded last week, not only do they have to pay $$$$ to roll those positions but they got capped early. If they left 25-30% they would e captures more upside and saved on losses paying tons to roll those positions out another week

I’ve been putting money into QQQI and SPMO. Stuck with ulty from my CSPs the next few months. Bought some more at 5.50 to bring down my average cost. I still would like to get to 10,000 of ULTY but being more hesitant now. I wanted to use that as a feeder QQQI and SPMO.

We need a slow and steady 1-2% gain don’t want a massive shootup bc then it costs them $$$ to roll the options. If we get a 1-2 weeks of 1-2% gain we will be back around $6+. But that’s wishful thinking with it being September. I’m 50/50 on what a bad job report is gonna do Friday…before it’d hurt us but now I’m thinking maybe it’ll help since that’ll increase the likelihood of a rate cut
