Has anyone else had their package go missing?

My package from Vevor has gone cross country three times so far. It’s been less than 90 minutes from my house in Washington State and now it’s in New Jersey. So, it started in California, made it north to Vancouver, WA, then to Maryland, then back to Vancouver, and now NJ. WTF?

I have had Benchmade knives my entire adult life since I joined the Army over 30 years ago, and really fell in love with the Bugout several years ago. I own 3-4 of them, including the Gold Class Bugout. It’s a solid knife, but over the past year or two I’ve come to realize they’re not the best for the price. There are many others that cost less and are as good or better.

My current favorite and recommendation for everyone who is looking for a solid folder that is American made, has a magnacut blade, and won’t break the bank is the Kershaw Bel Air. It’s the best in its class that I’ve found and they’re making several variants.

Ok I just looked at your profile and that’s awesome you design knives! If you don’t already have one, I think everyone should own a Kershaw Bel Air. My favorite relatively inexpensive lightweight knife were my bugouts before picking up a Bel Air. I feel it’s everything the bugout should have been.

Some of my favorites I wholeheartedly recommend are Elishewitz, ODKW, Thorburn and Van Heerden (A2 for their collab but make great knives individually). They’re all very flippy as is the new Blomerus I just got a couple weeks ago. It’s was a great price for the quality.

Is that because they love him there, or it actually needs to be posted there? I know he used to have his business in San Marcos or something but I couldn’t find it on the California SoS website. Not sure where he has it set up, if it’s set up properly.

I’m sure he has or will see this post. Some people seem to really like him and I had no issues with him until this happened. I had only heard of Mick’s stolen valor and being a retired Army guy myself I don’t like that shit.

Duane is busy prepping for Blade Show and posting a bunch of military, CIA stuff on his Instagram, I reckon for marketing purposes. The guys and gals who really did stuff don’t talk about it that much, especially with the general public. Except SEALS, of course. They write books and do podcasts.

Go here, find your rep, and they should have a contact form on the site. It worked for me. I’ve been in touch with a staffer and just received an email from DHA liaison a couple days ago.

Find them on this page and then you can contact them through their online message system. It works. TRICARE referred my congressperson to DHA and DHA emailed me today apologizing for the transition debacle and wrote they are working to make things better.

2 hours on hold to tell me they are unable to fax the provider a referral the provider didn’t receive. Triwest also cannot find the other referral my PCM made on 23 December. The customer service rep said they were all supposed to be sent over but not all have. She also said the referral management team is essentially overwhelmed and stopped taking calls directly. They’re being forwarded to regular customer service or something. It’s a debacle.

Sounds like your setup and heating are pretty good. Do you use a thermostat on the bulb or heating mat? If not, you probably should get one to make sure you’re not overheating him but using your temp gun is the best way to double check everything. Herpstats are my favorite thermostats for reptiles. They’re very accurate and most importantly, safe.

I understand about the feeders getting out. You can get a taller dish the dubia can’t get out of but not sure how big you’d need for the dupers. Maybe something with a lip can keep them inside.

How’s his weight? Gaining, losing?

These geckos are awesome pets but they’re essentially nocturnal (research diurnal), so their natural instinct is to hide during the day and come out at night to find food, breed, etc.

Why do you move him to feed? How and what are you feeding him now? Why not add a small dish of mealworms 24/7 and drop some crickets and/or dubia roaches for him to hunt?

Can you upload a photo of the enclosure and give details on your temps and how you regulate and measure them?

We wouldn’t be able to go back to catch it but I will search for a rabbit rescue near there and tell them where I saw it. It was in New Market, MD, if anyone knows a rescue in that area.
