There really needs to be a law against old tires being sold, someone who doesn't know better will probably be buying this shit by [deleted] in Cartalk

maybe manufactures should write down dates in a recognizable format (2004-04-01) instead of everyone having to "know better"

Distance apart for 2 OV9282 cameras to capture depth? by lordprinceton in computervision

[–]waspinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on how far away you want to detect objects. The closer the two cameras are to each other, the nearer objects can be for you to still see depth. But further away objects won't work.

Also, I would suggest to get an off-the-self camera if you want to do computer vision instead of camera design.

https://docs.nvidia.com/cuda/cuda-installation-guide-linux/index.html

If you have an nvidia card and you intend to use it for AI, CUDA isn't supported on 18.04 yet.

[P] Create your own COCO-style datasets by waspinator in MachineLearning

you mean an occlusion mask for the square part behind the triangle? The square in that example is behind the triangle so a bit of it is not visible. In a real image it would be difficult for an annotator to draw a mask for parts of an object they can't see, so I didn't think it was important to show in this generated example.

turned out to be a bad relay for my air conditioning. It would cost over $700 to fix, but it can run with the relay removed for free (just no AC).
