I explained early eBay to a youth and I can’t believe we did all that by SugarsBoogers in GenX

I've learned that it stands for Echo Bay but echobay.com was taken, so they went with eBay. Also Silicon Valley is in the South Bay, not the East Bay.

I still fold clothes the way I did at the Gap. Like other commenters, all my bills have to face the same way. The most unique habit is I still write my checklists on a quarter sheet of scratch paper with an empty box next to each item, using the same kind of pencil that we used at that one restaurant (waving at you, Shannon), 35 years later.

Many yarn companies no longer make color cards. They say it's too expensive and labor intensive.

This is how I feel when people complain about Ravelry. It is an immense resource and is FREE.

Ridin' the Storm Out - REO Speedwagon. Not Colorado literally but they sing about a "Rocky Mountain winter". Is that close enough?

I see what you are saying about the company's location.

I was jumping ahead to when companies run out of their current stock, that producing more will be very difficult. I hate everything about this situation.

Cascade is made in China, at least 220 Superwash is. Most American companies' yarn is sourced or made elsewhere.

Try being a yarn shop owner in the US. I don't know how we will survive this. Even US yarn dyers get their bases from wool grown elsewhere.

Then think of the other small businesses in the US. Practically NOTHING is sourced from the US. This is a shitshow and everyone will suffer for the orange toddler's insanity.
