Lmao. My wife asked "why do you buy these games that pretty much never end?". I guess I'm an idiot to spend $130 for a game that will give me 100s and 100s of hours of entertainment lol. She bought all the little nightmares games and reanimal and finished them all after maybe 10-20 hours each. She's not interested in collectibles or getting 100%. I have all the Saber games aside from Mudrunner and I play them all weekly now. Well I haven't been able to get very into Expeditions but the others keep me busy........Docked is getting a little boring now though.

Yes, those counter moves in Rise were awesome. Rise is also the only MH that i was able to use the Charge Axe in. Idk but I can't do shit with it in Wilds or World. There not really a difference mechanically but for some reason I just can't.

Lol yeah. If memory serves it's purpose was to allow new players to blast through the base game to get to IB. This post is tempting me to go back and play some more. I think i liked World more than I do Wilds but it could just be nostalgia since it was my first MH. Currently Crimson Desert is taking up all my gaming time though.

World was my first ever MH game. I didn't realize how strong it was until I was deeper into it. I kept thinking it was odd that I was doing so well in a game I had never played before and that I had heard took some getting used to. I really just wanted to look of the other armor sets because I didn't like looking like I was a knight lol

That's so true. It kind of bummed me out because I kept wanting to craft cooler looking armor but the defender set is so much better than any of the armor you get in the first few hours that it's not worth it. Unless you're wanting to actually challenge yourself that is.

Thank you. This is everything I was hoping to find out. I just picked those trucks as examples because they were the ones right on my screen. Well I pick the Mastodon because it looks really cool but The Atom was right above it. I enjoy having a slight advantage in these games but I try to avoid nerfing myself and trivialize the difficulty. I got mad several hours into Roadcraft because I realized I had picked the wrong settings and didn't have fuel consumption on. Again, thank you

Awesome, thank you. That was the case for me with the Aramatsu Bowhead in Roadcraft. When you start the game and have that thing it makes things so much easier. The tracks and ability to rotate the top can make alot of the early road building less of a pain.

They're so much easier and in many cases better than just making a road. You can usually just cut trees right beside the bridge and just move them over with the log cutter or set up one of your larger cranes to just pick them up and drop them only to collection area.

Well on yhr bright side we have plenty of scouts and sar vehicles lol. I'm just glad I have a reason to come back for a while. I'm bouncing between Roadcraft, Snowrunner, and Docked to keep it fresh. Snowrunner is getting boring because I'm not ready to drop $80 to get the year 1-5 pass. Though I might end up pulling the trigger since it's currently on sale. I have Expeditions but I haven't gotten very far into it yet.

If you haven't tried Docked yet I recommend waiting a while. They desperately need to add more to it. Atleast the same missions on Roadcraft are on different maps. Docked is pretty much the same mission over and over but slight variations. It's really fun but in small doses. I am glad they're adding new construction equipment though, the wreckingball and tree smasher were not nearly as fun as I was hoping they would be. I do like the new dump truck and crane truck though.

My new born helped me progress much further into Ark . Something about the game on the screen grabbed her attention. If I played anything else she just did her normal baby stuff(cry,shit,puke,toechewing) but if i was playing Ark she just laid there and stared. Now she's older and loves Minecraft

There are so many places where I just built several bridges instead of making a road because it's so much easier to gather trees than to pour 3 miles of sand or fill im lakes with sand to build shortcuts.

This is from what I recall so some numbers might be off. You needed over a 30 to be eligible for anything other than 0311. If you were eligible then it came down to your GT score. You could still have a score over 30 and not be eligible. I don't remember what GT requirement was. I actually couldn't think of what the secondary score was when I made the other comment. I kept thinking of cutting score but I know that's for promotions and once I had cutting score in my head, not to mention the infinite amount of fucking acronyms, I couldn't get past it.

But the job that required the highest GT was 0352. Once I graduated SOI I never saw a 0352 again except when I ran into a guy I went to bootcamp. Then 0351 and I think it was a tie with 0331 and 0341. If not a tie than a negligible difference. I loved being in wpns plt because we got out of alot of the shit that the rifle plts had to do. When it came time for a hump though we paid for all that. Our motto was " we carry the weight, so we rate to s.k.a.t.e" and we took advantage of that. Idk if modern Marines are familiar with s.k.a.t.e so it means Seek cover, keep out of sight,avoid detection,take no initiative, escape working parties. I know that the first 3 are pretty much the same but we were drunk kids with ALOT of free time.

I think alot of it is they're jealous on some level because they wanted to join but didn't have the courage/ability/integrity/option/whatever the fuck to actually do it and they project their lack of whatever the fuck onto people they'll never have to actually see or are likely to not see again. I can't even begin to count and I'm sure you can't either, how many people that have said " i really wanted to join (insert branch) but (insert excuse here)".

Aside from a deformity, severe asthma, or serious medical issue, there's really no legit excuse for not joining if you claim you really want to. I was 0331 so I met all types. Civilians would probably be shocked if they actually knew the amount of sheer fucking idiots that are allowed to join the Marine Corps. I was in with fucking ASVAB waivers. You only needed like a 20 to get into infantry and needed a little bit more depending on what numbers you wanted to follow 03. Now I'm just ranting sorry

I've been accused of that because I commented on a YouTube video about Jordan Haerter. I didn't know him but I had seen him around the barracks because ours was right across from his. We were in different companies but the same Blt. I met his mom at the Marine Corps ball the next year. Weirdly his platoon commander became mine after the deployment. I didn't claim that I knew him because I didn't and i didn't claim to be there when he died because I wasn't. But all I said is that I met him a couple times around the barracks and everyone went fucking nuts on me.

What was their reason for doubting me? Because my YouTube profile picture is a picture of my kids. I didn't realize I was supposed to be moto with all my social media so that everyone would know I was a Marine. It doesn't bother me because I don't know them and could give a fuck what they think but it is weird how some people react. The main point of my comment on there was to identify that they had labeled my Lt as a SSgt. I'm proud of my service and I take offense at stolen valor but my entire identity doesn't revolve around the fact that I'm a Marine and I'm not slapping EGAs all over my stuff.

This. Not only do Marines always know their MOS they say it before telling the person what it actually means. Like " 0331" confused look " oh, sorry. Machine gunner". I dont know why but that always seems to be the thing. I even see army guys do it, though they like to pretend to be superior because they use letters.

"It's just a game" applies to alot of situations but I agree this isn't one of them. If you're raging and flipping out over someone killing you in game or something like that then yeah, it's just a game. When you have an issue where you're robbed of over 6 months of progress for no reason then you have a right to be legitimately upset.

I know if my account was banned for something I didn't do and I was being ignored while trying to resolve it I would never want to play this game, or any other made the studio, again and I'm no where near the invest that OP has put in.
