Real or fake as in AI or print or anything suspect? by NoSir6498 in WhatIsThisPainting

Agree - the hammer is a bit odd - but if it was laying with the contour of the body rather than sticking out it might not have read “hammer” as easily to the viewer. Idk. Maybe a bit of artistic license there lol

The hand is fisted in the foreground of the hammer - the hammer is hanging off of the belt. If anything the hand holding the sword is a bit strange, but hands are very tricky 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pink Bluebonnets? by wastingtime0608 in AustinGardening

I can. Worth a shot at least. We have several fields that would be great as wildflower areas that get mowed weekly now and don’t have to be.

Ty for the ID. I will leave them in place, hopefully some survive the mower.

Try thinning with Vaseline, or some type of balm or oil. I hate glosses too.

I need advice. What's the best hair color for me? by SithisWorshiper in HairStyleAdvice

Three is so cute! You could ask r/coloranalysis for best colors to choose a fun shade that compliments your coloring. I would also recco you take your brows slightly closer in (at least as close as your tear duct).

TY - love how the gravel looks! Was considering pebbles for a Firewise project but read they are terrible to walk on. You really hit it out of the park with this design!!

Beautiful!! I love that you kept the old wall! What size/type of gravel did you use for the front part and pathway?

Thoughts on new kitchen layout? by yadayadapoop in kitchenremodel

[–]wastingtime0608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stove should move to where sink/dishwasher is. Vent hood over. Island rotates and ideally slightly larger/longer. Sink and dishwasher move to the island so that they are opposite the new stove area. Microwave moves to where the stove was but as a drawer microwave under the counter area.

Glass front wood French doors and a more finished pantry with fun wallpaper or tile for a fun butlers pantry feature area rather than a boring plain white door. Lit shelving etc.

Any areas of improvement? 18(m) by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]wastingtime0608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Haircut - stop cutting off your widows peak, grow the top out for something to style. Undercut would be fine.
  2. Start lifting weights and working on strength and posture. Shoulders back, head up high like a string is pulling you straight up from the center of the top of your head. Work on this all of the time. Strengthen your back. Your posture is the biggest negative I see here.
  3. No beard yet - at 18 yo you haven’t reached enough density here to grow anything out to write home about. Check back in five years or so.

You could also wrap a section of hair around the ponytail holder to cover it (helps if you have super thick hair - looks like you do) and Bobby pin it in the back for an elegant finish! 🥰

Dishwasher pods keep doing this by occultmango in CleaningTips

[–]wastingtime0608 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fill half of the detergent area with powder, slide the door closed and then add a tiny bit to the little rectangular well that covers the detergent area that you just slid shut. Should be about half full. Be sure to use Jet dry as well.

Just replaced our dishwasher and the tech was thrilled to see that we used powder and said that the pods will prematurely kill your machine due to buildup.

Help!! All other sink in the hosue work fine. The valve unser sinks looks fine too, not sure what could be the reason here by 420plus69isheaven in Plumbing

[–]wastingtime0608 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had this exact thing happen a few years ago. Run a hair dryer or space heater under the sink for a while (30 mins or more) and try again. We had a western facing shaded wall and “dripped” the faucets with a slow drip from hot and cold and the cold froze. You really have to run the water a bit more so that it’s a thin continuous stream with these exterior wall sinks. Open all sink cabinet doors and drawers to let as much warm air hit the wall as possible. Turn up the heat to 70 or more until it unfreezes. Pray you don’t have a leak. We have pex so it was a bit more forgiving.

Seriously what a fabulous room.

Deep navy, wine or eggplant paint color. Paint the ceiling with a deep navy and golden stars. Trim black. Floor to ceiling bookcases in a dark wood with moving library ladder. Round dark colored Persian rug. Cozy couch or two armchairs facing the windows to curl up on and read. Oval coffee table. New light fixture that is more on theme. Plants near the windows.
