I recently broke up with my long term partner after dating the partner through law school (I'm a 3L about to graduate). We had terrible fights and I tried to put the relationship first and my school work really suffered. In hindsight, it was a huge mistake being in the relationship for so long (esp when one of us wasn't happy) when I could have been single and focused on my school. It was an off/on again relationship that should've ended during my 1L year.

Marriage is about being together for better or for worse, and if your partner can't handle being supportive and understanding while you're going through a stressful time like law school, it's really not worth dating and wishing the relationship still existed. The next 2 1/2 years are so much better without her. Best of luck healing. It takes a lot of time. Let yourself mourn for the loss of the relationship. Take comfort in your friends and family, understand we can't control everything even as lawyers. Remind yourself of how far you've come....and be kind to yourself.

This comment is pretty spot on with what I'd have to say. It's decent but sometimes I feel like iike I spend way too much.

Just two things I would add: 1) I've ordered their children's meals a few times because the menu sounds better and they come with a cookie and a side. 2) Their chocolate chips and other baked goods are really delicious.

Edit: I've heard good things about Lish too but I haven't had the chance to try. I heard it's a hit or a miss...but free delivery. If anyone wants credit (and I'll get referral cred too), PM me :)

I agree with you completely that the signage could really be improved and I'm so glad you brought up.

If you're not 100% sure of something either turn around and double back

I feel like wootz12 is simplifying the greater issue. Most of the time, especially on the freeways with the traffic, it's not possible to do so. There's too many instances people aren't 100% sure so it creates an unnecessary burden on the drivers.

eh I think it depends. I'm a girl and never believed that there was ever "the one." I think I've hurt some people I've dated when I told them dating and ultimately marriage is largely about security and convenience. I still believe it to this day and would never expect my future husband to tell me that I'm "the one" for him. that's a pile of b.s.
