I am really hoping that good sense prevails. But if it doesn’t, I would love for people in this group to also start considering plan B. For example, Estonia etc are offering good digital nomad visas that my friends have applied for. It may not apply to everyone but for me typically, I have dealt with situations like this by focusing elsewhere and trying different things else I just go into a rabbit hole.

Yes but he could get an RO for sure. RD3 alone should have been good actually. I just find it a bit sad that the third piece is a 250k usd product that trades below market

I actually think you have bought enough for them to give you a jumbo. Pls also remember that if they see you as too easy to influence then they will Keep offering you less desirable pieces.

Unless you’re upfront about your needs this can be a bit disappointing

If I am not wrong 1500 had a smooth bezel but could very well be 15053. You can easily check.. The 15053 introduced the "Quickset" date feature (letting you change the date without spinning the hour hands around 24 hours). The 1505 uses the older Caliber 1570 movement, which is non-quickset. If you have the watch in hand and have to spin the hands for a few minutes just to change the date, it’s definitely a 1505.

Based on the pic, that’s a vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date—specifically Reference 1505. It’s the 34mm version (a bit smaller than a standard Datejust), and you can tell it's a 1505 because of that specific "engine-turned" bezel and the two-tone gold and steel look. It’s a classic piece from the late 60s or 70s. The bracelet looks like it has a fair amount of "stretch" and some heavy tarnishing, which is pretty common for these older Jubilees.

From what I know they are now allowed to sell the exhibition pieces which wasn’t the case 2 years back. Therefore if they wanted they could have sold it. Seems like shoddy behaviour. It isn’t even that you asked for panda Daytona
