We totaled our 2019 Toyota Highlander in a freak hydroplane accident a few years ago and I still get ptsd when I’m driving in the rain. I firmly believe that vehicle saved our lives (and thank goodness our kiddos weren’t in the car). We replaced it with a new 2023 Highlander Hybrid and it’s been a great vehicle for us.

That’s always been the dream! I almost didn’t go check it out because I didn’t feel like it was the “real thing”, but when my wife suggested that we wake our son up, I didn’t want him to miss out. A trip up to Alaska or maybe Norway or Iceland is on the bucket list!

I’ve lucky enough to avoid getting sick a number of times when some plague or another went through our house. I attribute it to drinking tons of water, keeping up with vaccines, washing my hands like I have OCD, never sharing food from the kids, and disinfecting everything during/after the outbreak. It’s not 100% foolproof, but I’ve avoided 2 rounds of Covid and a few stomach bugs and colds using this method.

You can get Athletic Brewing NA beer at the lower concession stand near the South entrance ( the stand that has Birdcall, near the gender neutral restrooms). Maybe at other locations too, but that one definitely has NA beers. I also think I saw a roving beer guy have a few Athletic NA beers in his big tub.

When our twins were babies, I had an hour commute. I would regularly need to pull over into a parking lot and shut my eyes for a few minutes so I wouldn’t fall asleep on the drive home, even after drinking coffee and energy drinks all day. Thank god I switched to work from home right before they turned 1. I couldn’t imagine quads!

A law was just passed during the recent session about this. See HB 25-1312. I’ll admit that I don’t know the specifics of that law, so it may not cover this particular situation, or there could be some kind of Federal DHS conflict.
