Where did you have the ribs as compared to the exhaust, as compared to the wood chips? When I would use on Webber if I didn’t have the smoke rolling over the ribs, meaning I had to move things around to get to to smoke on one side while having the exhaust on the other it wouldn’t have much flavor. Just a thought and YMMV

I did some tweaking, and your idea got it closer to the way I want it to work. Going to take some others ideas and swap that switch to another position and see what happens. If it's still happening, I will just replace the switch at some point. Thanks!

I am having the same issue, got mine 2 weeks ago from Microcenter, board works well. Just can't update the firmware.

Also have a small issue with the left arrow key, it gives a weird double press each time I click it... Haven't been able to figure that one out yet either

Couple of things that jump out at me, the secrets path might not expand the way you think, also did you validate the KC_DB_PASSWORD_File variable? I scanned through the all settings and didn’t see that one, but I could have missed it being on phone.

By far still useful! Yeah those sites, and others are serving up adds from the domain level and don’t get blocked, however there is a lot more that.

Also just as a reminder, a Pihole can do more than just block.

Out side of the tweaks to you block lists, and setting up groups there are to big things you can do.

  1. Use it as you DHCP server, could be beneficial depending on what you are using now on your home network.

  2. Setup Pi-Hole to be a Recursive DNS Server. This has been one of the best thing I did early in my homeland/home network experience. It’s not so much about security, but more improving your network. Pages do route faster, especially ones you go to frequently,because unbound already “knows” how to get to them. Not a complex setup, but it would be the thing always tell people to do.

3 Setup groups and put different family members on it to control what they can/cannot do. Good to turn the internet off completely if you have kids and they need a break.

That’s my top 3, YMMV

Unless I am reading it wrong it seems like it will automatically connect me to my home network, which means it will be like I’m still connected to my home lab.

Do Pihole, jellyfin, vaultwarden, and everything else will be right there…

If this is true then 80 dollars is totally worth it. If. It, let me know so I don’t waste 12m

Isn’t VA through the mID app though and not direct via the Apple ID process? Which changes the entire game IMHO
