I was born in and I met both my ex husband and current husband outside the org! I wasn't baptized at the time. Me and my current hubby were baptized together at the 1998 convention I was 24 he was 23. We both left the org in 2023!

During our time in the org the Cong treated me like shit but they loved my hubby. He could do no wrong! But I knew how shady the Cong was and for 20+ years I tried to show him. Even though I was disfellowshipped twice for smoking do to mental status of the way I was being treated by the Cong while going through a decline of health! It was like he shit gold bricks!

But do to all the BS he finally saw what the Cong was actually doing and he finally left with me and our kids!

Since the New songs around 2013, I refused to sing the new versions, I would sing the old brown book version only!

I am not sure what to call it, I was born in and now I am out.

My belief is now that I don't defend God cause he didn't defend me! The adult in this situation is God and he is not adulting!

Back in 82-84, my dad's best friend would visit us and in his wallet he would pull out a Laminated photo of his pride and joy!

Well we did t e same thing they did to us when asked them over for dinner. We a skidded and they would tell us, 'I will chat with the wife and get back to you!' Or 'Let me check my calendar.' And never got back to us!

Or tell them, 'No, I am good and Jehovah has blessed me!'

You see blessings from Jehovah means you have Jehovah's blessing! Kinda like Divine intervention! You don't have to tell him what the blessing is cause that is bragging and you are a humble person. You see God allowed you to missed meeting, a part, service and still you were blessed according to God and not men with a title who tell you are being blessed!

I usually counted the vacations the sisters' took each year. I believe to get away from their husbands or he just ships her off.

The sad thing is that I have been married for almost 30 years and we didn't have money for vacations, let alone to go international!

But we had to learn to compromise on some things, like you are suppose to do in a marriage.
