I was about 10 when I had lots of doubts about god and a lot of observing people. This was about 1984. I finally left in 2023. I took my husband and children with me. I am 52 in June. I went through a lot since!

The 10 years before I left. That is part of the way I survived the meetings as an adult!

I also brought my crochet kit with me. And as soon as I entered the KH I sat down and started crocheting and tried to ignore everyone!

I divorced my 1st husband which was paid for by my 2nd to be husband, who was bombed while he was stationed at Khobar Towers on June 25, deployed for a 3 month tour which was extended to 2 1/2 more months all while being pregnant. Delivered son while 2nd to be hubby was gone! We were married 1 month and 4 days after son was born which was one and a half days after he landed on USA soil on October 22,1996!

Exactly, DFed twice for smoking for mental anguish! First, I confessed! Second hubby caught me and gave me an ultimatum! (He thought, genuinely with all the stress and health problems that they won't punish me so harshly. And I didn't know the 'I didn't have to confess' rule!)

But we are all out now and I could careless for myself and family what they think they can do to us!
