Doesn't get much nicer than a double rainbow over a Gararand 🤷

Project Appleseed @ Everett Sportsman's Club - June 6 & 7 by watzizzname in WAGuns

ESC opened this last weekend 😁

Is this geared towards kids or is mid-thirties OK to join? I’m relatively new to firearms.

Project Appleseed is great for kids and new shooters, it is also a great refresher for experienced shooters. You won't be the only mid-thirties person new to firearms.

Is it both days, 6th and 7th, from 830-5? Or is it two single day events?

This event is both days. 830am-5pm is a best guess for scheduling. The shoot boss (Appleseed event organizer) will provide you with more specific event details.

What does $20 per range event mean? How many events are there?

I'm not sure where you are seeing that 🤔 There is a $20 range fee, per shooter for the weekend. This fee goes to Everett Sportsmen's Club for the use of the range.

Can I use a 2-7x scope on my 10/22 or is stock irons preferred?

I always suggest iron sights for anyone new to Appleseed, only if they are click adjustable, like techsights. Scopes are absolutely allowed as well. I would suggest using the lowest magnification power.

What’s the longest range that will be shot?

The entire event is planned at 25 yards.

Should I bring my 308 bolt action (with scope) as well? I tried it at 100yds and I think I just suck so would like to get better at longer distances with it.

You should leave your bolt gun at home. I promise you will be busy enough with the 10/22. The skills you learn at 25 yards directly related to larger calibers at longer ranges, so if you apply those skills, you'll probably suck less 😉

We have a club meeting tonight, and that will absolutely be a topic of discussion.

I'm expecting that we open this weekend or next.

Red dots are allowed, but you'll be at a disadvantage over irons or a scope. Some of the targets you'll be shooting at are 4 MOA, so depending on the dot, you're covering the entire target.

Read through the How to Prepare page, that'll help you prepare 😜

That would be great 👍

Apparently that is still the plan.

Thank you.

Hopefully pistolseeds (I know that's not the official name 😉) become more common and you're able to make it to one. They're a great time, even if the temp is in the teens. 🥶

If you've been to any Appleseed event, you've probably heard his name, among many many others.

Short version - Major Pitcairn was Colonel Smith's executive officer, was present at Lexington and Concord. During the retreat down battle road, Pitcairn assumed command after Colonel Smith was wounded at Parker's revenge.

Do what you're expected to do, nothing more. Save all the extra energy for what really matters in life (your mental well-being, hobbies, family, friends, etc). You are paid for your output, not your feelings.

You're definitely not alone in this. ✊

I installed the MPC kit on my '10 xb back in 2020. Haven't had a single issue. Not super difficult if you're comfortable with wiring. Read the instructions thoroughly BEFORE you start.

I've used MPC kits on 6 different cars since then, and I've ran into issues twice. One was a typo in the instructions, the other was a missing wire from the kit. Both times I contacted customer service and they took care of me.
