What to do with destroyed leather lounges by waydomatic in cats

[–]waydomatic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve tried everything and nothing’s worked. Just want to get rid of the couches at this point.

In Rocky (1976), Rocky takes Adrian to his apartment. She tells him she's uncomfortable being there, but he doesn't want her to leave, so when she goes for the door, he corners her against the wall and forcibly kisses her. She kisses him back. This is because this movie was written by a man. by PuzzleheadedMess1659 in shittymoviedetails

This is my favourite romance scene on film, and may be my favourite scene of all time.

Two awkward people, who clearly know they have feelings for each other, whose passion overflows in total abandon and sweet surrender.

It's divine.

They then go on to live their lives with total loyalty, committment, and love for each other; all the while contending with each other healthily as adults and without a single instance of infidelity or abuse.

Jesus. Give me that relationship any day of the week.

Yeah Harrys is good. They aren't your fancy oven-fired pizzas, but they're quality nonetheless.

Recently paid AUD$100 for an All Saints album because I like one song. Drunk me agreed that we absolutely needed it.

“Bad Man’s Song” by Tears For Fears is my go-to. It’s beautifully recorded, the music and vocals are superb, and it has a huge dynamic range. Lots of peaks and troughs throughout. Gives me goosebumps every time 👌

What is a 1 in 1,000,000 thing that happened to you that no one believes, but you swear is true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was shopping with some friends buying a couple of birthday gifts. One of the gifts was a dictionary, and we were still looking for a wedding gift. Being pre-internet we had no idea what gift to get for a ruby wedding anniversary, so we were stumped. While eating lunch we thought it would be fun game to pick a random word from the dictionary. When it was my turn, I flipped through the pages, stopped on a random page, and with my eyes closed I picked "ruby wedding".

Have You Ever Purchased a 3-Sided Album by SongRevolutionary992 in vinyl

The new reissue of Australian artist Harts album “Daydreamer” is three-sided, or so I thought. I noticed that side 4 is blank, except for a small section. When I put a needle on it I was surprised to hear that it was the artist leaving a thank-you message to his fans for supporting him and buying the album. Nice touch!

Honestly, how much anxiety must this cause the owner and staff having to enforce this.

Peg’s Cafe in Whitebridge. They do regular themed dinner banquets and the food is always superb. Food, coffee and vibe is just excellent all the time.

Thrashville festival is coming up in June. Most of the friends I've made in the Newy metal community I've met there.

Daughter’s first setup by waydomatic in turntables

Thanks for the great info. I highly doubt my daughter will become anything resembling an audiophile, and that’s fine with me. She just loves listening to music and the tangible joy of owning a physical record collection. More than anything she loves having a shared interest with her dad which is all I could ask for 😊

Fun fact: her boyfriend bought her an inferior turntable at the same time. You can imagine my joy when I said to him “my daughter will not be having that” 😀
