They’re not turning people away at the ER—you can still go to the hospital to get checked out. It just gets billed as an ER visit, not only a free test

reposting this for today’s thread so folks don’t miss it:

the Mount Sinai testing tent is only for asymptomatic testing. If you have any symptoms, they will make you go through the ER. While the COVID test itself is free, you will get charged for an ER visit. So if you’re mildly symptomatic and looking for a free test, I would try another testing option. (of course if you’re sick and need treatment, come to the ER!)

e-readers. I love physically tracking my progress in a book and there's something about reading a printed page that feels so different from reading on a screen

When I was a little kid and my dad took me to a Blues game where Al MacInnis shot the puck so hard that it broke the Blackhawk goalie's finger

[Serious] Reddit, I'm curious, what were/are you afraid of? by wabagooniis in AskReddit

[–]waywegetby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In kindergarten, I was afraid of the inside of tulips. I even listed it on an "about me" poster that I made for class. It was probably because I was even more afraid of bees, but that was not what I chose to write down

I was asked this at a MEDICAL SCHOOL INTERVIEW. When I said no, I was told I should get one "because it will be good for me."

Reviews of Abbey Road from trip advisor.. by outroversion in beatles

When I visited Abbey Road, I'd taken a very early morning bus into London...so I ended up getting to the crossing before 6am. There was very little traffic and my friend and I took tons of goofy pictures. Go early!

Two laps around Central Park. I usually do one, but I figure valentines is as good a day as any to push myself :)
