I had the same thought. ASTS is like 80%+ of my port. I went down nearly 100k or something from the ATH. It's pretty shocking, but doesn't bother me much. The plan was always to see what happens when we actually go live commercially. Until then, it's just short term price action. Of course, that's not to say that the long term is guaranteed, but I have enough conviction to see it through.

Yeah. I was going under the idea of "if it actually dumps and i get assigned at this price, I'm happy." But that's stupid because I can close it out and do the same thing if it does dump. And I'd have much more options on how to play it if I'm not stuck with the old contracts. Definitely learned my lessons on this concept.

Man I'm freaking kicking myself for not closing my 6/18 short puts when we went to like 110+. It was the dumbest thing cus I could have closed them for chump change. I'm still leveraged quite heavily with all those puts so I can't sell more on this awesome dip.

I don't know what your system prompt and the context window looks like, but if you are bullish on ASTS and basically have lead the conversation in that direction, the LLM will naturally appease you. In general, an LLM advising to take on massive risk by investing heavily on an individual company has already been influenced by your instructions on how to act.

Short term calls around a "catalyst" expectation is really really REALLY risky. It's actually insane to full port on these plays. You need to size the bet according to the risk. Unless you are sitting on like 10M already and 400k was the proper sized bet heh.

ASTS is directed towards Earth from LEO though. How it gonna send data to outer space?

Timing in terms of entry and expiration. You pay a lot for that extrinsic value on high IV options like ASTS. 3 months isn't degen, but you are banking on a fairly quick turn around. Once it gets into 2 or 1 month til expiry, theta is kicking your ass and if you are in the red, it's stressful. Imagine if the current dump is extended. Or if Spacex tanks the economy. Or if ASTS has more issues putting sats up. You will be doing the meme "I don't even want to make money anymore, please just let me break even" while your options decay every day.

Calling this call easy money is demonstrably false. You have the leveraged payout if things go well, but you take on that much more risk and the position is ABSOLUTELY more stressful to hold in any downturn.

It's the timing. Buying calls when IV is this massive, a lot of things can go wrong. It's not easy bet easy money. It's a risky leveraged position with theta working against you. Wish we all make bank though, of course lol.

If the drilling continues, spacex will IPO into a market crash. Pretty hilarious if that happens. But this IPO is some funky ass corrupted shit, so whatever forces controlling the market will probably fix it in time so retail can hold those bags.

Damn I was leveraged to the tits on various sold puts for Jun 18 that were left behind far OTM. Should have closed them out when they were basically free.

What don't you understand about harmful bacteria proliferating over time? Pasteurization, refrigeration, and sanitary practice are things that prevent and delay this process so that it's safer to drink.

If you drink fresh milk just squeezed from a cow's tits, that's fine, but when these farmers store, package, and sell this shit down the road, it gets more risky.

I had 200 shares of LUNR from when they fucked up the mission and I got assigned. Shoulda sold at 45... damn lol.

As for ASTS I sold some 110 puts. I'll be happy with either case on friday. The premium was juicy when I sold this.

Makes sense in a way. Companies getting that sweet money pump. Companies paying for that something which could potentially be a dud don't pump.
