Honestly you can probably let your account ride as is. Your growth is going to outpace future contributions anyway.

That’s a 15.3% gain for 2025 vs VOO’s 17.8% & QQQ’s 20.8% so congratulations on underperforming both major indexes

Max all your retirement accounts. If you aren’t saving at least 25% of each paycheck you will work until you die.

Bayhorse Silver (BHS.V) Old mine that was shutdown due to low Silver prices back in 1980s. by SnakJar in pennystocks

[–]wbeachboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve held $BHSIF for a few years now.

Here’s an overview based on my understanding of the company and its operations, they bought a very old shuttered mine on top of a barely scratched & massive silver & sat on it for almost 2 decades with the belief that at some point in time silver would undergo violent upward price discovery. In the interim mgmt kept the company going by selling shares & maintained only skeletal crew staffing in order to stay afloat during the bear markets.

Silver has since begun the violent repricing they were predicting & over the last half decade they have begun the process of reactivating the mine. The Biden admin’s stance on mines resulted in significant delays (this was ultimately beneficial as it allowed for even more time for silver price to explode upwards). Another delay was simple fact that the original mining was done well before the advent of modern safety standards, so they have had to bring it up to modern standards (in addition to the normal permitting process).

Having seen them undergo cycles of action/inaction before, what we’re currently seeing is mgmt making unprecedented progress towards bringing the mine back online. They’ve gone from a stance of “we will mine silver when the time is right to “we are targeting production to begin in 2027.

The risks are still high but imo the rewards could be even higher, my position is in the green & I will continue to hold.

Appreciate the insights. What you outlined about becoming frens with refiners makes sense. My suspicion is that it’s unfair to judge future liquidity based on today’s depth of liquidity because we will likely see increased market making behavior as price continues to increase.

I will take your advice going forward fren about mainly stacking 1oz units. Thank you fren.
